There has already been an ongoing effort to challenge the mainstream media. It's called the Internet. The problem is that if they ( main stream media) are challenged, they can put out the idea that you are either insane or have no idea as to what you are talking about.

A lot of people have complete faith in their media sources, so a campaign like this can stop a good many viewers cold from even looking into any evidence that any other side may have; besides, people have a great fear of being labeled the same. Many tend to forget that news, is number one, a business. Main stream media has the money, and can be paid a lot more money to spin a story any way a client may see fit.

My advice is to look at every side of a story, or as many as you are allowed to find, and then make up your mind for yourself. Unchained education can be, how I like to say, A Mother and a Father.
