It's a good example. If it ever threatens the banks though I have a feeling it will be destroyed entirely. Making it a risky option even as is.

But this is the beauty of bitcoin, it can not be destroyed! It is world wide for a start and it is also peer to peer! To destroy bitcoin they would have to destroy each and every computer/device partaking in it! All over the world... Look at how they have destroyed bittorrent sites... Wait, they haven't and they won't because they can't...

Recently in the UK the gov stopped service providers from allowing the pirate bay... What happened? You simply use on of the other proxies or a different torrent site... It is just cat and mouse... Like wise it will be with bitcoin, they could stop the exchanges but then more will crop up! Or people will trade peer to peer... There is no way for them to stop it.

No matter what, bit coin has to be traded out for it to be used. There are only so many things you can use with bitcoins. Which is the main problem with any kind of alternative instrument. But yes, very valuable indeed. And, quite possibly a game changer depending on how things unfold.

Yes but bitcoin is a baby, it is only 5 years old but right now I can buy many things with them... Even go on ebay and put in accept bitcoin... People are doing it right now... There is even an ebay alternative that deals mainly in bitcoin... There is a bitcoin store in america and there are plenty of bars and cafes accepting them already! It is only growing and I think it will not stop, there is no way to stop it for the reasons mentioned earlier...

I didn't miss your points at all. I'm simply stating that every country's citizens has its own unique battle in order to get things right. Each citizen must learn their country's specific laws and work within it to turn the tables.
I think you're very mistaken about a corrupt government existing behind the Queen. She has so much power that's been handed down to her that she has chosen the ones behind the scenes. Just look at the way the monarchy has treated their relatives in the past. I think the UK citizens need to stop feigning over Wills and his princess and their offspring. She is his 12th cousin, so that goes right back to the bloodline BS.

I would disagree that we are responsible for the murders and torture our government does.
I and many others have made it pretty clear we are against the war crimes our country commits via the internet as well as protests that were held.

The responsibility and bad karma now falls all on their shoulders for the theft of our tax dollars to commit their crimes.

But Libor would have been manipulated to minimize costs to banks and customers. I guess they adjust currency exchange rates as well. I have an app for my smart phone, and you can see all sorts of patterns over hours, days, months and years. Sometimes a currency exchange rate will shoot down by 5+% over a hours then shoot back up again.

At the end of the day one can:

- fight it and win
- fight it and fail
- embrace it and stay "happy"
- accept it and let it play itself out, while sticking with your personal principles (passive non-resistance)

Well you cant deny the fact that they are in control. And control everything we know or have. I have the same dream as you pal, I will love to live in an utopia, but with humans around its impossible. There would always be a pyramid ruling the society until we become advanced enough that everything is done by machines and sustainable energy.

If you are born into a system you don't know nothing better, so those people probably live happy, withing their own means.

You are part of the ~2 billion privileged humans that have internet access. Meaning that we are all part of that people you say that enjoy the fruit of their labor. So, I really encourage you to look the other side of the coin.

Its really not that bad if you see the positive that has come out of it. Not that I enjoy working for paper, destroying the environment, and buying crap, but it moves the world around.

Just move the F out to different country where they need your skills like I did and then you will enjoy life like a do. Why? because there is nothing we are or can do about none of this. Just look at Boston, the sheep just complied.

I know I am not going to be able to stop any of this. Though I would gladly join in if a large enough group of people quit playing this 'game' of allowing those at the top to screw us.
Knowing this, I try to limit spending as much as I can. Instead of saving that money, I spend it on silver, long-term food storage, bullets, etc... One other thing is try to buy from places that don't tax you-garage sales, barter, craigslist, et al.
I think preppers have got it right. As more and more people get off the system, totally, or as much as possible, this will over time limit the hold bankers and gov't have over us.
We need to be independant and self-sufficient so the gov't sees that we do not need them as much as they would like us to.

I've been saying this for years - what people here see as the "NWO" or "Illuminati" I see as just plain old corruption, the wealthiest corporations and banksters buying off politicians, spending billions on lobbying, manipulating the media and basically doing whatever they can to make a profit - a corporation has no morals, no ethics, no Humanity and no responsibilities. It exists to do one thing, increase its own power and wealth.

There is no secret group of people who have a plan to dominate the world and turn everyone into slaves, there is simply a group of the most powerful corporations and banks, owned and used by the wealthiest in the world, and they collude with each other to get more and more for themselves.

Because they won't believe you. The truth is not as interesting as the idea of a secret cabal of fanatics who want to round everyone up and put them in camps.
