Anyone in Southern Southern Illinois/ St. Louis Area: Look Up! Military Training Drill??

I just came across this on a local news outlet. I'm in St. Louis and I immediately thought of the famous O'Fallon IL black triangle sighting.

Anyone from the areas mentioned in the report know what is going on?

" Several of our viewers’ homes were shaken by low-flying helicopters over the Granite City and Troy areas Thursday night.

Those low flying helicopters reportedly flew over in several rounds, and for some, without lights.

St. Louis County police believe this is associated with military training exercises going on in the area. We’re told the U.S. Army is performing helicopter takeoff and landing drills.

News 4 will work overnight to find out why this is being done at night and causing concern for many residents."

Yeah, they are running military drills. I read about it. Just more Martial Law training and conditioning. I'm in a suburb of St. Charles, I saw an Apache fly over our neighborhood recently. It shook the whole house because they fly so low. I usually only see that on and around the days of the air shows, but they are in a higher altitude then.

St. Louis area here too. I have not seen the latest round of unidentified lights. I will keep an eye on the sky.
