I'm sure that this topic has already been hashed out several other times in several other threads....but why not again.
Kerry didn't give the election away. Yesterday, the people went to the polls and voted. Then last night and today poll officials counted those
votes (some more than once). Then we came up with a total vote count (both electoral and popular). In the end, Kerry had less votes than Bush on
both ends. So, in an effort to not drag out the inevitable, Kerry conceded defeat (he saw what happened to Gore in 2000 and didn't feel like looking
like a groveling fool). So...how is accepting defeat like a man "giving it away"?
