I don't know about anyone else, but Kerry gave up waaaaaaaaaay to easy. I think this was planned all along. Kerry conceded and GIVES the election to bush. Kerry is a (sorry cannot say that word here). I wonder if he would have done this even if he had won the election? Maybe a way to garantee bush the win. JMO.

Truthfully, I do not like bush or kerry, but in a way I am glad he backed out. He probably would have done this in the middle of a crises if ellected. I still do not support bush though.

IMPEACH BUSH!!!!

I'm sure that this topic has already been hashed out several other times in several other threads....but why not again.

Kerry didn't give the election away. Yesterday, the people went to the polls and voted. Then last night and today poll officials counted those votes (some more than once). Then we came up with a total vote count (both electoral and popular). In the end, Kerry had less votes than Bush on both ends. So, in an effort to not drag out the inevitable, Kerry conceded defeat (he saw what happened to Gore in 2000 and didn't feel like looking like a groveling fool). So...how is accepting defeat like a man "giving it away"?

Actually Mpeake you are inccorect, not all the votes had been counted yet when kerry conceded, the race was still going and it was going damn close. There where still a couple hundred thousand votes to be counted in ohio when kerry conceded and it is possible kerry could have actually pulled it off. It has been said we wont know the true vote count in Ohio for another 11 days yet kerry decided to throw the towel in since the race was so close, that sounds odd to me as well. Even if the polls where saying it was most likely kerry wouldnt get the electoral vote in ohio there still was a chance as we all know polls are only wrong most of the time. In esscence kerry did give up the election before it was actually over.

Additionally to my understanding there are still quite a few votes made by soldiers overseas that have yet to be counted , then you have all the voter fraud claims around the country that need to be investigated. This election was probably one of the first where the people who said " i would have voted for kerry but my single vote wouldnt have made him win" are actually wrong. You combine all of the people who have made that statement and if you got them to the polls this race could have been down to litterally one vote either way.
