Reports that a suspect has been detained over Monday's Boston marathon bombings have been denied by US officials.

A lot of mis info and or bad reporting If this is true.
The press conference is postponed so It looks like they still have no real leads or none they wish to share.

My question is how bad are the news networks to get it so wrong? are they just wanting to keep viewers by bad reporting? do they check before they say stuff?.
