you do not have permission to post here

several times lately i have received this notice when trying to post a reply.

"Insert new reply

Formatting reply for insertion...

You do not have permission to post here. (1)"

is this some sort of bug? i have not had it happen before those DOD (or whatever) attacks.

That means the thread is in a forum you don't have access to.

Either:

1. Staff only forums.
2. Writer forum or Debate forum.
3. RATS ( if you don't have the post count)
4. 9/11 if you don't have the proper WATS count.

I'm sorry, whats the proper WATS count. It's bad enough the site got hacked and I lost my thousands of stars, now I cant even make a thread?

If your account was compromised during that event last year, you can still regain your account.

Just send an email to Contact us page with your old username, password and registration email and we can have that set up.

The WATS count for posting a thread in 911 is 10. For replying it's 1.

The email account was long ago sold along with the ISP it was on. Is there anything I can do about it?

We can change the registration email, we just need to confirm that you owned the ATS account, hence the contact ATS page.

It also happens if a thread is locked while you are typing out your reply...

Plenty of threads being locked lately due to the amount of duplicate news stories being posted.
