Oh? And yet people call themselves God-fearing...they say fear of "God" is kind of expected. I mean, isn't there a fear of hell in there somewhere? A fear of possession, a fear of temptation, a fear of failure...a general aversion to all imperfection. All symptoms of trial and error. There's a lot of people who don't take it too seriously, which relieves me in the hope that they will begin to discover the power of embracing the shadow. As I've said before, there's a shadow for every candle, and studying the shadow will reveal more about the light. And in the inevitable days when the candle doesn't seem to shine so brightly, you can face the shadow without fear because you know exactly what it is and have made peace with it. In this way, you will know exactly what to do because you now understand the interaction between the currents of your soul. You've extended your awareness beyond just the stuff that makes your existence tolerable.

But those who continue to cling to the rock, to fight the flow of the stream, will be battered by the dance of the universe. So yeah. A cult of fear is a cult of death. You'd be amazed how many people "God" killed in the Bible. I believe he's the equivalent of about four Hitlers. Get four of them in a row and you have the approximate summation of the atrocities credited to the almighty. Pretty impressive, isn't it? And then he declares himself ruler of our world just because he created us. Don't we get a decision? I mean, we get to choose our governors and presidents, why can't we choose our god? Let one of your archangels take the wheel. Retire. Hell, if it bothers you that much, set up a reincarnation cycle, Avatar style!

Why should we be immersed in god's splendor and have any fear in our hearts whatsoever. Sound's a bit self defeating and debasing of any true god. I have only a love of life, balanced by a hatred for those whom defile it.

In saying you are satan, I meant to imply that reality and life itself, we ourselves, are the product and source of that balance between the carnal and idealistic. My god is not dead, he is typing this message to you, whom are also god and the devil in one. Our exchange is our godhead so to speak, being perpetuated by the division of our unity. We could not converse if not for the illusion of separateness. We all want to extol one side of ourselves over the other, in spite of ourselves whom are essentially the unity of these opposing forces.

We are in agreement, as in "reality". What exists is the collective agreement of the illusion of our perception.

The thread is very simple. Mark Twain asked 'who prays for Satan'.
So I asked the question .. does anyone pray for Satan.
And I said that I don't because I don't think it would do any good.

If any of you actually understood the bible properly you would know that anyone can seek forgiveness, even Satan.]

And he doesn't seek forgiveness ... by his behavior we know that he hates God and fights him. So the question is ... do people pray for Satan? Do they pray that he will 'change sides' or whatever ....

I think the ones in Heaven do... I think they are disheartened by someone they know doing what he/she is doing especially when that one has knowledge of what we don't fully see. I also think he has a purpose, but he oversteps the parameters set for him. I also think he will never turn around

I think Mark Twain is really prodding the truth that might have been lacking in his days and that is unconditional love.

Do I pray for him? No, but that goes against blessing your enemies. Should I? Possibly when I am more mature and have more in-depth knowledge of what transpired eons ago.
