Gun Control-My "MASTER" Plan to ELIMINATE GUNS!

This is my plan to take guns out of society!

Eliminate the hunger for POWER!

Eliminate ECONOMIC problems!

Eliminate CRIME!

Eliminate the Hunger for CONTROL!

Eliminate MENTAL disease!

Eliminate HUNGER!

Eliminate attacks on FREEDOM!

Eliminate SCARSITY of resources!

Eliminate WAR! (see all of above)

If you do all of the above, then no one would have a need for guns! Guns would then disappear!
Let us know when you are done.
That should keep you busy for a while, so if we don't hear from you for a while we won't worry!

You are on the right track...
All you need to do is ensure everyone has an abundance of anything they want.
If everyone has everything they want, then there would be no crime or war... As the only reason for crime and wars in general, is to take what you want that they have.

Don't get me wrong, they would still try and wage religious wars, but again, if soldiers had all they needed... They'd be less inclined to aggressively act against another religion.

Removing the guns from the gen public will never happen.

Guns are not based on only a 'need', their is the sporting side
of it as well.

Not to mention insurance is always nice to have, and as promising
as all the things listed are, whos to say they wont back fire and blow
up and in turn need put in their place.

i include myself in that category.

Well, that would be an effective list to remove almost every reason to have a gun. You missed the reason I own the majority of the ones I do though. I honestly enjoy shooting for sport and competition. There is just something satisfying about the work to make each individual round of ammunition then going out and carefully, slowly, lining up each shot to put it as close to the cross of the x-ring as my skills in both areas can take it.

Why?

Well.. Why do folks slide down mountains on two sticks with no brakes? Probably for about the same reason. Something about it just hits the 'fun' spot for me.

What about rape? Or vandalism? Wealthy people commit crimes, so how does a more docile society do anything beyond creating the above ground Eloi, and the underground Morlocks?

I don't understand why guns are the center of discussion. Honestly, wanting to take away guns to prevent violence is like wanting to take away the ability to procreate prevent rapes.

Back on topic. Guns do have sporting uses, allways have allways will. It's people that kill, not the weapon.

Yes, its quite unbelievable that two people would actually join this site on the same day.

What are the odds of that actually happening?

Any "shenanigans" are completely my own. Such as pointing out to the gun control crowd real causes of violence and hopefully (wishful thinking) keeping them busy with something more constructive.

You forgot guns are used for hunting and protection from wildlife. just try to tell someone that lives in rural (hillfolk)Alaska that they don't need guns and they will invite you for a vacation and leave you hiking in bear country with out a gun.

Then they can print in the local paper about the condition of the body of the anti gun nut that tried to stop a full grown grizzly with a stick.

I believe many anti gun people must be anti rural living and anti hunting.(some sierra club members believe you should have special permit to live in a rural area and only they should give out the permits.)
I also believe many anti gun people have never lived in a rural area(big city folk that are afraid to leave the city.watched to many The Hills have Eyes movies and i am not joking i have meet some of these people.)

People will always kill people, some of them will anyway. I hate to go against human nature so I would like to see the world set up so all those people can live together, and then they could kill each other to their heart's content and not be a bother for the more peaceful folks.
