PHP fox: Social Networking Script, Is there any better?

Wanting to know if anyone has any experience with phpfox or any other SN script.

JomSocial is cool, or community builder. Never used phpfox, but I will look into it.

I have used the Boonex Dolphin social networking script. You need to have a good host who is familiar with Boonex as there are heavy demands on the server due to video chatting, uploading and downloading videos and instant messaging. It's free to download and try out - I have it on my Cpanel via Softaculous.

Try looking at a framework called "pinax". It's python based and not php but in about 30min you can standup your very own social media network.

Yes community builder is pretty good you can set up comment walls (facebook style), groups, user galleys etc etc. I've found it to be pretty processor hungry server side though

Personally I like JomSocial - Joomla Extension. Works a treat and there are some wicked themes that go with Joomla that work with JomSocial as well...
