They where in a property overlooking the picturesque Chapel Of St Michael d'Aiguilhe in Le Puy, Auvergne, France.
He had visited earlier and looked upon the masonary of the structure. He looked at the arch. The carvings where symbolic to the belief system of that
religion. He chuckled when a tour guide explained how the figures depicted the lamb of God in the centre with elders of the apocalypse and the 'little
Green man masks' at their feet. "Cute" he thought to him self.
The two men enterd the meeting room to discuss current events.
"Welcome!" The Grandmaster said, "I only have a few momentary to spare as I must meet with our elders"
Casper noticed that the grandmaster looked paler than usual. "Perhaps he was sick? And would quite possibly die..? Ha!.. Unlikely, most members of the
jurisdiction don't get ill."
The room had a somewhat art-deco feel about it.
Exotic wooden carvings displaying elaborate geometric patterns with clever motifs where spread about the room, all surfaces had a glossy finish.
So glossy that there was no need for a mirror in the room.
"One of our number has a brief over-view of procedings that are currently in place" the grandmaster gestured towards Casper.
"Thank you, your Lordship" Casper replied. Hopefully that did not sound too disgusting to the gathered members of todays audience.
"The economy. Please note that your personal fortunes have been protected. We are seeking to move the majority of our metals to a suitable location.
So whichever economy is trigged next we will have some substance that will be able to provide that currancy...unless its Bit-coin"
The congregation laughed.
"Now onto my main points... War and Plague. We have been stabbing a few hornets nests for a while and plans are slowly coming together for a larger
conflict that shall benifit a few of our mutual interests.
The public are being driven paranoid, and its getting easier. Nobody reads the small print. The rise of the 'want it now' culture has trebled in the
past few decades" Casper licked his lips.
Yuppism has had its nameless child and it has been left at our gates.. for us to raise and mould..." the smile spread across his face...
