Vacation to Sedona, Arizona

Typically my vacation takes me out to the Bozeman, MT \ Yellowstone area but this year I am doing something different.

Heading to Sedona, AZ for nature and night sky photography.

Anyone been there or have any good suggestions? I know that their is a certain new age element to this area due to the various Vortex locations but not sure what to think about those until i get there.

Sedona is a great place to visit, especially for couples. My wife and I were going their every year for our anniversary, we would stay at a really cool b&b called the grand adobe villas. I have never seen the milky way until I was there, the star gazing is amazing. Sedona just feels good, nice people, great views, great hiking. You will most likely love it and return home with recharged batteries, lol.
