there is no law on inside bank trading lol. you can put it in and take it out as much as you want,,, its not inside trading,,,, and the people did it before banks closed so no big deal, they have friends in the government, is that really that unusualy?


how come no one talks about the 150k people who made money betting against the stocks on 9/11 that the 3 airlines would have trouble?

is that because three quarters of them were in governments?

Thanks for the link. I would suggest also that the tittle be changed. Is very misleading. There are no billions pulled of the banks in Cyprus but almost 1 billion dollar from 132 companies all together. The tittle is speculative the least.

The branches in Cyprus were frozen, but the branches in other countries were still open, and that is how the transfers were made possible.

2 branches remained open as I understand it, 1 in London and 1 in Russia. Business as usual for those guys lol. but what we are talking about here is the unprecidented amount of large withdrawls and transfers in the month leading upto the bank holiday. These guys were obviously fore-warned and got their cash out PDQ. I feel particularly sick as I lost 5K in the Laiki bank
