I am always a bit wary about such stories because, basically, kids do stupid stuff to show off. For example, a lad at my school (when i was a nipper) got expelled for bringing a loaded crossbow to school. No one thought he would use it but because it was on school property he was expelled. Possibly this is something similar rather than anything sinister..............

I would like to know how big this backpack was this kid was trying to sneak in....I mean the article said he had "swords" in it...seriously? Swords? He was obviously up to no good, but again, this has absolutely nothing to do with gun control....the kid brought plenty of other weapons to do harm with. This is all about the parenting and schooling.
