And as for the Touring test, even a simple LISP program would pass the Touring test for many people. I seriously doubt any quantum computer entities posting in a newsgroup would be distinguishable from human. Humans have this tremendous built in denial about things they are not programmed to understand. If a QC replied a little too intelligently they would be seen as just a bright human poster or a misunderstood scrabble player (QC's must be killer at scrabble).
