Are couples blocked from "starring" each other...?

Question for a moderator....

Bit of a silly question, but I'm curious all the same!

I noticed a couple of times fairly recently that I haven't been able to "star" any of LiveForever8's posts. He noticed today that he's unable to star any of mine.

I wasn't aware of a rule stating couples were barred from giving each other stars...?

Is there some kind of block in place? Is there a glitch or a bug perhaps?

We don't sit there and star every single one of each other's posts simply because we're a couple If I see a post of his pop up in a thread and I agree with what he's said or think he's made an excellent point, I'll star him just like I'd star anyone else.

Are you trying to stop us from being lovers, ATS?

I would hope it is done to prevent people having multiple accounts and starring themselves, you know same ip address.

I don't see that it should matter,really.You can star a thread or reply once anyway,not so? Besides most couples propably have a similar view on most things,so i don't think blatant favouritism would play much of a part.
