So American children are being denied an education, randomly, because the government cannot afford to educate our kids.

And our roads and infrastructure are getting increasingly worse. Many of the roads here are going from being asphalt to being the pebble roads which are more inexpensive to maintain. Potholes litter the roads, and some major roads are so bad that if you do not slow down you will probably damage your vehicle going the designated speed limit in these areas.

And yet we are spending billions of dollars nation building in foreign countries that do not want us there...

So your tax money is going to nation building in foreign countries that do not want us there, and which do not want our schools or our roads or our influence whatsoever in their society. Yet when it comes to our own country our roads are falling apart and our education system is getting increasingly worse, and our children are increasingly being forced out of getting an education... and these are individuals whose families pay taxes so their kids get an education and who want a US education.

Disgusting.

What can we as Americans do? Well, stop sitting your kids in front of the TV or video games just to keep them out of your hair. I know many people right now are struggling and its hard to try and give your kids an education and make ends meet and just trying to support your family and keep a roof over your head in this period of time can be difficult. However, you cannot rely on the government to educate your kids for you. You do not have to have a college degree to educate your kid, it just takes the time and commitment and effort on your part to teach them what you know!

If your out of a job right now, it would be a great idea to teach yourself a new skill as well as educate your kids!

So pick up some school books, you can get on e-bay and buy used or older school books and teach your kids the material yourself. You can also find used books at goodwill and other places for cheap.

Learn and encourage your kids to learn about computers and how to program. This is a skill set that will only increase in demand, there is already a huge shortage of individuals who can program, and there are educational programs out there for free where you can learn this. It is a bit intimidating at first to learn this stuff, but if you start out slow and take your time you can learn it. The greatest thing is you can teach yourself this skill without having to pay tuition and go to college, and if you start your kids out young with an interest in computer programming their skill will only increase as they get older, its like learning a second language, better to start young.

If you are someone who has no college education and cannot afford schooling, learning to program would be a great idea because it is a skill that is heavily sought after and which can allow you to make a good amount of money. You do not have to pay to learn it, all you need is a computer. You can go to the library and get a book on how to program in the language of your choice, or you can download information off the internet. Be patient and committed to learning this, remind yourself it is important and remind yourself that learning this stuff will improve your quality of life and you can succeed and learn a skill that can help you attain a better future.

Encourage your children to learn this stuff!

Job security is in the trade business. Graduate high school and go to trade school before going to college. That would give you something to fall back on and you will be a bit more mature. It would also give you time to see what job skills you would need and take the appropriate courses to obtain said job.
