Advice for the "Almost" Sexually Active

This weekend I crossed that boundary so many men out there eagerly await during their teenage lives to "achieve"...Unfortunately, for some people like me, you have to wait until you're no longer a teenager to get there

But the manner you go about sharing this experience with someone is something I had hoped would have been a tad bit more meaningful, thus my offering of advice...and I offer this not to brag, albeit it is in a bit of a sarcastic tone (perhaps due to my recent peaceful reconciliation of this matter with the parties "at hand"), but moreover, it's common sense that sometimes isn't so common after your 5th or 6th drink...

1. Don't overindulge with alcoholic beverages several hours ahead of time...or during....
   
2. Ask them if they're ready....don't have your friend ask them....
   
3. Don't do it with other people watching or passed out around you...
   
4. Avoid the ripping of clothes to prolong any hope of kindling a positive relationship....
   
5. Don't share...
   
6. If they ask you your name later, tell them you're offended and march off...be the responsible one!
   

You can make these simple choices and alter your first experience dramatically...or you can make the choices I made and have regret and a sour stomach to mull over the morning after...

The choice is yours! (and I'm happy to make an ass out of myself here if it helps others learn and be more responsible)

This is an important topic - and I hope others take it seriously and realize that it's not as uncommon as you may think...these situations will present themselves to you over the course of time, and making the right decisions is something you either have the sense to do ahead of time, or is something you learn in the process....

Yeah, make sure you wait until at least the third time until you break out the midgets, latex, and egg beaters. And save the baby oil for a hotel room, you'll never get it all out of your mattress.

:O when I read that, my jaw dropped. Honestly. In today's society, people (especially teens) are having sex much earlier.

I'm 17 and honestly in no real rush to get out and DO IT. I want my first time to be special and with a girl I really care for and love.

Ya know what though...that's awesome...and you're not alone....I'm 22 and I just had my first experience - Only had two girlfriends that never went anywhere...

Of course, those were the girls that I truly did love and wanted something special to happen with....the girl that ended up being my first, I had only met 3 times prior......Hopefully things have worked out better for other people in that department than they have for me...saving yourself for that special person is a fading dream but a truly respectable one....

I started working as a bouncer in a night club at the age of 17.....I told them I was 25, it was off the books and so no one checked.
I had the good fortune of being sexually educated at that age by women in the 30 to 40 year old range. Confident, attentive, sellf assured and very willing to teach an eager pupil.
Quite frankly, I never could date women my own age until much later in life, after that.
Also, there are several "first expereinces" when it comes to sexuality. Be open, and thus, be prepared, to enjoy them.

And save the baby oil for a hotel room, you'll never get it all out of your mattress.

Yeah...sounds like my best friend...He tends to date woman at least 10 years older than him - and usually it's really not dating....I'd call it something more like:
"Not coming out of his room for 6 months"....
