Palin calls Obama a liar in speech to conservative activists

Sarah Palin, speaking at a conservative conference on Saturday, called President Barack Obama a liar and urged her party to stand by conservative values.

"Barack Obama promised the most transparent administration ever. Barack Obama, you lie," the former Alaska governor said in an address to the Conservative Political Action Conference near Washington.

Palin further took a swipe at Obama's gun control measures he is pushing through congress, including more background checks.

"More background checks? Dandy idea, Mr. President.

Should have started with yours," she said in a speech peppered with one-liners and folksy language.

Is it fair to say that Obama is a liar?

It certainly is fair to say that he, like 100% of politicians, is economical with the truth when it suits him.

It is so comical CPAC had Palin speak who is such an unpopular person and snubbed Chris Christie who is one of the most popular Republicans. I didn't think the Republicans could further sabotage themselves but they managed to do so.

Yes it is absolutely fare. Said he would end the wars, bring home troops, close gitmo, and 6 pages more....Link But then most are....politicians that is..

While I love what Gov Palin did in Alaska Re: Special Needs Children, This is still a case of Pot meet Kettle... And She doesn't have a lot of room to be calling Obama a liar (even though he is on some things, and i'm not talking about BC's)
