Actually, the original news report is genuine, but the giant was a hoax -- and they got fooled.

The entire Border Cities Star newspaper of Sept 6, 1919 is available in the google archives and was linked on page two in this thread. The news report is there, on page 16 of that paper.

It was the report in the New Castle News (linked on page 4 here) that shows the giant was a hoax, but that report came out on Oct 1, 1919 -- around three weeks after the original report in the Border Cities Star.

That's why the thread got moved to the Hoax forum: not because of the original news report, but the one a few weeks later that showed the giant was a hoax!

Could you give links to the Sumerian texts, many of which are available online with translations, which indicate that man descended from Sasquatches?

Actually, I read it in 'the 12'th planet' by sitchin, it describes the animal chosen was bipedal, had long dark flowing hair and they first noticed it coming down to the water to drink. later they found it had disarmed their traps, so picked it to create a hybrid from. Goes on to say the first adam had dark hair as well.

not sure where ya can find it online, its just a paperback book though. among other things you'll learn about the creation of the solar system and even noah's flood.
