Is it important to establish a foundation?

Should a couple play together in order to stay together?

In my book, a couple shall be taken new stuff.

The new stuff shall be left among the old.

The couple established the new stuff in advance a long while ago, because they chose to engineer designs and how to unvail them together. Would that be possible if they didn't play together?

Well, I think a couple should definitely have some shared interests, to be successful. But, I also think each needs at least ONE activity they do without their spouse, to have some kind of sanity. For example, my wife and her girlfriends scrapbook in her scrap room. Meanwhile, my buds and I either go play paintball, or just play some pool, have some drinks, play some games, etc. in the ManCave.

You have a strange way of wording things John.

Of course people need a foundation to start a relationship and yes, they need to play together to stay together. Without either of those, you don't have a relationship. You wouldn't have anything really.
