Its approximently less then 1 day before the election voting.. And yet,

.. on ATS you have 7 frontpage posts (And several more lurking around or being written as I type this) regarding Why you should or shouldnt vote for a candidate.

.. We have Michael Moore busting out a letter about why we should vote for Kerry.

.. We have the news channels going ape-sh!t trying to cover as much damaging information as possible.

.. My phone has rang 17 times in the past 2 hours from George W. Bush and John F Kerry recordings about how important my Ohio vote is! (Phone is off the hook now jerkoffs, stop calling!!) (just for sake of laughs, bush called 11 times, kerry 6)

... I could go on forever with examples

Are there people going to the voting booths tomarrow that are still UNSURE who they want to vote for? I mean.. come on... by now you SHOULD have a choice.. its really not that hard.. pick a guy you like, and vote..

So why all the "day before election" political hype?

Is it really useful? Or just a last ditch effort for a candidate backer to try and sway the unswingable voters?

This is
by no means a political thread.
Seriously.

And I'll leave you with just one more picture...

Disclaimer: The last picture is by no means a way to avoid the elections. Satire.

- I thought things were looking so transparently false and pretty deeply sad with Bush in Ohio this morning.

Not only did he arrive before daybreak on his whizz through but they even bussed in the joyous crowd....a totally fabricated 'rally' for the local TV with (I'd bet real money) almost no-one outside of the republican party of Ohio and it's surrounding districts attending.

Why bother? Just so they can claim he went through the motions and did his set-piece on an airstrip just up the road? Wow. That really means sooo much (to the regular voter), huh?

It's not just Bush Kerry's at it too.

Its pretty bad when the mods have to thrash a million posts, yet no one sees the uselessness of making such posts.
