If You Really Want to Make a Difference and See Change...

...Then you need to start sharing your knowledge and what you learn here with as many people as you can through social media.

I've just wrote a very long post with many links and videos but sadly lost it
but the overall message is this-

ATS is a brilliant site. But by only posting here, we only circulate knowledge amongst ourselves. To see difference, spread as much info as you can.

You may face ridicule, but by putting the info out there, people who are otherwise only concerned with reality TV, soaps and sport can have a chance to invest their energy in understanding what is really going on.

There are thousands of videos exposing the truth about GMO, the middle east and Africa, the illusion of choice that is democracy, how the corporations and foreign lobby groups buy the politicians and fund their campaigns, creating a situation where either side of the vote is going to serve their interests. It is a scam.

Knowledge is Power.

Im sorry, I did have a huge thread to post with many video suggestions to share, but look yourself, there are hundreds of excellent 2-3 minute videos that can get people to really question the world and the system, here is just one example on GMO-

Straight to the point and effective, then we can get people to ask why politicians who are supposed to serve us are supporting GMO-

UK Environment Secretary seeks to sell out the UK to GMO

He said there were "real environmental benefits" to the technology and dismissed concerns about its impact on human health as "complete nonsense".

It comes amid speculation that ministers are ready to relax control on the cultivation of GM crops.

Although not illegal, to date no GM crops have been grown commercially in the British countryside.

However, the coalition has allowed small-scale cultivation trials to take place.

Spread knowledge for knowledge really is power.

The system survives through manipulating us to accept the status quo whilst gradually increasing their control, so get as many people as you can to question it and see the truth. If we, the human race can one day reach a point where we can collectively say no and no longer comply, then there is nothing they can do. The real power is with the people.

Here's another great video suggestion exposing how the MSM is also controlled and part of the manipulation and scam to keep the same corporate serving politicians in power- people need to see how the idea of democracy is a complete sham-

Knowledge is power.

ATS is an excellent 'base' and sharing ground for info, but that info needs to get out to a wider audience to have an impact and if humanity is ever going to have a chance of avoiding a complete global takeover and NWO dictatorship.

Personally, I think it is too late, the forces at work are too strong and skilled at their work with centuries (more likely much longer) of experience, but at least we can try...

*****

Just an edit, as evidence of the incredible syncronicity I (and many others) are experiencing lately I've just come across this video-

It really is about enough people coming together and no longer complying. They could not do anything if people collectively said 'no'. How could they enforce a TV license if everyone said no, would they fine everyone in the country?

We have the power. It is just a case of getting people to see beyond the manipulation.

*****

Would also like to dedicate this thread and its message to the memory of Rachel Corrie, an American student who in the end gave her life to reveal the reality of Israel's war crimes against Palestinians. What a brave, brilliant human being-

21stcenturywire.com...

From her diary, days within being killed, she wrote-

When I come back from Palestine, I probably will have nightmares and constantly feel guilty for not being here, but I can channel that into more work. Coming here is one of the better things I’ve ever done. So when I sound crazy, or if the Israeli military should break with their racist tendency not to injure white people, please pin the reason squarely on the fact that I am in the midst of a genocide which I am also indirectly supporting, and for which my government is largely responsible.

I am continually amazed by the amount of people that seem to be utterly (and willfully in some cases) oblivious to the ways in which we are inching towards becoming a police state.

I try to wake people up every chance I get, usually, unsuccessfully, as sad as that is.

I agree with your basic premise here; knowledge is power.

Completely agree with the OP.

Sometimes when I share something I've learned with people, they think I'm crazy. All I try and do is give them a different perspective, and encourage them to search for themselves.

One quick example... when I told my father, who unfortunately watches Fox news all the time, that the government is directly involved with the media, he told me I was full of it. That I was just some conspiracy nut. I encouraged him to go look up "Operation Mockingbird". He had no idea....

It is incredible to see how people will remain so ignorant in the face of the obvious.

That said, there are people out there who will at least take on board what is being said.

Posting conspiracy stuff on social media is hard because your friends think you are crazy
but it's down to whether you really want change or not...I would imagine most people on ATS would not dare post what they post here on FB etc because deep down, we want to be 'normal' and part of the herd. Sadly, what is normal in this world is almost definetely not when our own governments are doing what they do in foreign lands and the sheer manipulation that is carried out.

Knowledge is power

I feel for you losing your thread like that, it's happened to me on a few occasions it is an absolute
well, you know

I like to spread any 'conspiracy theories' if you can call them that in person, people listen then and feel much less inclined to be an ass about it unlike on the internet where trolls exist. Make sure you have a tough upper lip and don't take things to heart.

GMO crops is something I have been talking about a lot recently, mainly because of this Horsemeat scandal here in the UK. I keep saying it's not the Horsemeat you need to worry about, you need to worry about what GMO crops are doing to us. I find the comment by MP Daniel Grian Alexander very funny a few weeks before the scandal.

I can't find a link to his comments but he basically said, we are not sure how many GMO's are in the food chain but they are their.

Some sick stuff man

On another note, you will be suprised at how many people are 'awake' to what is going on, last year when I was volunteering at a Heritage place an old chap their was talking to me about the 'elite' and how they own 98% of the wealth. I felt quite proud at that moment since he is oldschool and probably the last place you expect it. I'll add that he is quite a famous character around here and he knew nothing of my views on stuff like this so all in all it kind of blew my socks off.

You try to wake people up. Over and over again. Then one day, someone says, "you know, I think Wonderer may be right> I'll go check that site out."

He/She comes here to ATS.

Sees something posted about fearies or stargates.

You've lost all credibility you may have had.

You would be better off sending them directly to the source link in our OPs.

Don't get me wrong. I love coming here and parusing the threads and there are some wonderfully open minded and intellegent people here. People who actually make threads about faeries and whatnot. Threads that will, more than likely, be very well put together and an awesome read, but it wont matter to the average Joe.

Not hating, by any means. Just stating what I think will happen.

The problem with your typical conspiracy theorist is they overwhelm people with tons of stuff.
The way to introduce someone to such things is to select a very specific item..not one of those catch all items like 9-11, but a particular tiny mystery within that. However tempted you are, don't start stringing other things together, don't start going on a tangant, and don't let them know what your conclusion is..let them start asking questions and then retort by asking them what they think of whatever is presented...

From there, over time, a person may start wondering about that element themselves, may do a bit of research, and find the next nugget.

Knowledge that goes against the norm is a slow personal gain..it is up to them to find it though..if you force it on them, they will reject it simply on principle (people like to think they know everything, so when you tell them they are wrong, they defend it..the trick is to make them find it on their own, then its their knowledge and you don't have to challenge them.).

But ya..keep it simple, singular, and leave it with just a floating questionmark verses give answers.

ATS is somewhat limited in its audience, but then again, it is read and participated in by folks all over the world.

Personally, any way that we can get the message out is a good thing. I also use Facebook as a way to spread the word. Sadly, I have gotten into fights with my own family members about what I post, but I will not back down. Some people have deleted me...and some have added me, simply based on my viewpoint. It ain't easy being a voice in the wilderness. Thank goodness, I'm not alone.

I have run into people while shopping, etc., who have exactly the same view point as I do. People from all walks of life, and all races.

There is an awakening going on, and I think the internet is directly responsible for this. That's why they're trying so hard to censor it. Too late, though. Once one is awake, it is nearly impossible to go back to sleep.

I agree with your premise and wish we could get more people to pay attention to what is happening around them.

Sadly, many people do not wish to entertain the idea that all is not what it seems. They could care less as long as life continues as they want it to.

It will take something very drastic that effects every single person for us to see a real move towards change.

Fear not.....that event will be coming soon enough.

I post things on facebook and never get a response. I don't know if no one is paying attention (I get comments and likes on other things I post) or if they are just too afraid of what people will think about them to say anything. I think it is the latter.

I am not ashamed. I have a Gadsden (don't tread on me) and a Gonzalez (come and take it) flag in my front yard. I am never going to be afraid to stand up for what is right, and for our collective rights.

I think fear is one of the main problems for most people.

I agree
I too post things on Facebook and get no response, it's all down to the fear of how they'll be seen or judged, then again my facebook is filled with dim-wits and attention whores. Personally the best conversations about things like conspiracy theories are with those who have nothing to fear from the public eye or how it views he or her.

I at first liked the idea of facebook but at one point the sheepleness of people on that site just pee'd me off. So I just started ranting on there to see would hear... nobody. I also posted lots of videos some very intellectual and some, well some like this:

Still nobody on Facebook wanted to hear. That is why face to face is the best way I believe

I do love a bit of Johnny Cash and I feel he explains my situation at the time well in this song:

A Kriss Kristofferson song

I totally agree, keep it simple afterall sheeple are skittish little creatures and are easily frightened, they are not the most intelligent either
but yeah keep it simple and never preach but talk.... sound advice

If it weren't for family, I probably wouldn't have a facebook at all anymore.

What saddens me the most about facebook, is that people are way more worried about what is on tv tonight, than they are about what is really going on in the world. I don't watch tv (Okay, I watch movies and youtube. Mostly youtube.), I haven't had cable in 5 years, but, one scroll of my feed is all it takes for me to know exactly what is on at any given time.

I find that extremely disturbing.

I am enjoying the video, by the way. I have been listening to it as I type.

Glad you like it, I picked it for it's humour and simplicity, I thought at the time that it was easily understandable and accessable.Funny thing is BBC Three pretty much stole his idea for a comedy series called impractical jokers.

And yes facebook is all you need now, no need to watch the crappy shows because everyone will fill you in on that site. Not exactly a good thing if you do not like the crap on TV.

BTW the guy in the video is called Charles Veitch if your ever interested in seeing more of his youtube vid's, quite entertaining some of them.

While I agree with the OP to a certain extent, here is my feeling on the subject.

The thing with "sharing knowledge", creating awareness and all that, is that we don't *actually* know diddly squat. Many conspiracy theorists like to think that they do, but really, they don't. No one does. This is the main problem, in my mind, with conspiracy theorists in general. Instead of asking questions, we tend to jump to conclusions, and generally to conclusions that fit in with our world view.

This alienates many members of the public, and it also alienates many of the more rational thinking members of ATS, myself included.

If we'd actually take a step back, point to the historical examples of manipulation and deceit that we have, that are confirmed, that are true, and make parrallels with what's going on today without pretending that we actually *know* what's *really* going on, then ATS, and the "conspiracy" world in general, would be a better, a more credible, and a more appealing place. If we took more time develloping critical thinking, as opposed to spouting out unverifiable nonsense, then we'd start achieving something. The amount of cassandra complex lurking behind so many posts here is simply overwhelming, where as the amount of actual "knowledge" accessible on ATS follows a horrifyingly but predictable inverse proportional.

At this point, if we were being intellectually honest with ourselves, we should'nt be doing anything but questioning events that smell fishy to us. Going beyond that, which happens in 99% of the threads that I read on this site, is pure speculation, and very often, pure bull.

When we start pointing things out in an open way and asking for answers, instead of pointing things out in dogmatic way and jumping to conclusions, we'll start achieving critical mass.

For now, because we are so assertive based on very thin evidence -in most cases-, the general public views us as tinfoil nutjobs.

And I'm sad to say that until we change our ways, then as the OP says, "we will face ridicule" and more often than not, it will be well deserved.

Be very careful with advice like this. The good info you want to spread today is alienated friends / family and social arkwardness in the future.

Most of the things discussed here are here for a reason. Meaning that not everybody is delusional/dumb enough to believe in most theories here.

Let me be very clear: You do NOT want to warn people about chemtrails/black pope/whatever on facebook. You do NOT want to do that at all. That will stay on there pretty much forever, and once you are THAT guy, you will stay that guy.

Yes agreed, thinking about some of the nonsense on here... A lot of it you shouldn't put your social reputation on the line for. That being said though we have thousands of people who come to ATS and when I was thinking about it last night there is a good percentage of people who come to this site who are either lairs, delusional or lack common sense. You see it all the time people coming up with crazy stuff for stars and flags, people who come across as total shrills and ofcourse those who will believe any old hype without doing a minutes worth of research, I mean come on your on ATS via the internet.... a tool with an unbelievable amount of potential for research.

A real conspiracy theory should be based on atleast some facts that lead you to the theory of foul play, the theory of a NWO for instance it has plenty of history and facts to play about with. That being said I have read some crazy stuff on that topic too, things like aliens run our governments or the Illuminati run them and they devil worshippers and own Disney and so on... There is facts however in that Freemasonry helped create the new world we are in in the past and also companies such as the East Indian Trade Company's, lots of facts surrounding that. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't go around like some kind of preacher telling everyone lots of crap, peak their curiousity and talk facts and discuss with them because nobody likes being told they no nothing or they are somehow less awake because you don't believe the crap your telling them.

Truth is we as the people know next to nothing about what is going on so they best we can do is question things and facts, educate ourselves and share what we know with our fellow humans and all of this should be done with common sense and some decent etiquette. Two things that are seriously lacking in society, that though is a whole different topic and quite possibly a conspiracy in it's own right
