This is an interesting contrast to the picture of Ahmadinejad painted in the Western media. He spent the better part of the funeral procession mourning, embracing Hugo Chavez's mother, and in tears.

don't believe what the media about the man . i find him very respectable and a decent human being , i think many western leaders could learn a lot for the guy if our leaders were not so greedy and corrupt.

I don't wholly believe all what is said of the man, but you are saying his must be what? A saint because he can give a perception? Isn't that what people in the lime-light do? Offer a perception of one character to sway the masses? I don't doubt the sincerity here, but to offer this as a counter doesn't really add-up. Politicians kiss babies and get photo-ops with children; then turn around and kill and maim hundreds....don't buy the perception of either at this point in my opinion.

never did i say he was perfect or a saint he is a human being who makes mistakes but he has some great ideas as how to govern a country

My reply was in general given the OPs post. It was brief but can be inferred that we should all love the guy and think of him as a snug bear. The man is human and obviously held respect of Chavez. That is his view. But the inference was this "he isn't all that bad see...he kissed the coffin!"

I try my best not to disparage others, and in this instance, I cannot say that this is a valid counter to how he handles himself outside of this situation. Wishing death upon multiple nations isn't washed away with a simple show of humanity.

I wonder how many will come pay their respect when Dick Cheney or any of the Bush cabal dies.

I guarantee it won't be as nearly as many as Chavez got.

lol, they have allies regardless of how much the Western media tell you they are isolated.. You wouldn't think over 100 countries are behind Iran with their nuclear program either, would you?

Whatever. Either he's really upset over the loss of a political ally or he's really upset over the loss of someone who he considered a friend or he's a really good actor for the worlds cameras ... or any combination of those. No one knows what is really going on behind the masks these politicians wear. Only God knows ....

My opinion, it is also cultural. I've met and befriended a lot of Iranians. They mourn intensely, like you wouldn't believe.

More proof that theocratic fascists such as Ahmadinejad and liberal/socialist dictators such as Chavez have much in common, especially their hatred of America.

That's not unusual, heck he was in bed with the guy basically. They ran the show together. Them and all the other socialist countries. They choke out their citizens with their laws and won't even let them leave the country. And then give the poor some gasoline and all of a sudden they're heros. Who cares what happens to them they reap what they sow.

No kidding. All the axis of evil guys love each other. They all hate western values and therefore almost by default they are all allies. It's like a unification of degenerate leaders all assembled together.
