Kind of interesting to see you take this side Phage.

What side?
What's interesting? Did something give you the idea that I'm in favor of pollution?

No, no not at all but you usually take a very pro science stand, and don't strike me Global Warming/Climate Change believer (I could be wrong there). To me if we cannot curve CO2 (and that is not looking likely) we will need to deflect light and warmth or modify weather patterns.

The science says we are seeing a warming trend.
The science also strongly indicates that the cause is primarily rising CO2 levels.
SRM would be an extreme measure and we are not (yet) at a point where such measures should be considered being used. Nor is the science regarding such measures strong enough (yet) to ensure that unforeseen and negative impacts would not occur.
