That's not Socialism, that's Christianity. True sharing doesn't involve coercion.

Beliefs aside, we should all at the very least applaud Rand Paul for using the fillibuster in the manner in which it was intended.

I guarantee if there was a mandate where the speaker had to do what Rand Paul did, there would be far less filibustering. Reading War &Peace or the phone book had led to the simple declaration of filibuster to point where the entire point of the filibuster has become lost. Same result without the same route is dangerous. It creates the most outrageous obstructionism which we see today.

So I applaud Rand Paul for using it properly.

Did he do this when Cheney was flying drones, or does the squirrel on his head only command him to question the current POTUS?

If the government suspects an American of wrong doing, they are restrained from 'executing (executive)' that person without first charging them with a crime and finding them guilty.

Why do you get mad at the guy that advocates that process vs getting mad at those that don't?

Actually, it is relevant. There was no mention in the article of "Non Combatants".
Just because an enemy traitor is "sleeping" does not give them the status of non combatant.

Just so we are clear, I am Against Domestic Spying, Eavesdropping, Electronic Surveillance,
Drone Monitoring, and the like. Unless ,There is a Court Order. I Am, as an American completely
supportive of The Bill of Rights. Which I further believe in this day and age should be UPDATED to include
the Right of Privacy current with today's level of technology.

In General, No American Citizen should face "The Death Penalty" without Due Process.
I believe in Posse Comitatus. I even am fond of The Magna Carta.
However, It must be understood that under unusual circumstances, For The Greater Good
of The US Population,(or any population) a very sticky situation may arise conducive to the "Story" I posted earlier in this thread.
It should never be accepted practice, however in a "Do or Die" situation, it should be noted that
the rules may have to be , shall I say, "Flexible".

We can only hope and pray that the individuals entrusted with these executive decisions are of
sound mind, and strong moral and ethical fiber. For these attributes would create a great hesitation
to act indifferently and without recourse.

No, he didn't, because he wasn't in the position to at the time, having not been elected to the Senate when Cheney was VP and all.

He criticized what the Bush admin. did and made it clear during his filibuster that he didn't care which party was in power.

A drone strike on U.S. soil WILL happen...it is only a matter of time. The White House and the Department of Defense will have very LITTLE to do with it. The question is, is the victim of said attack an American Hero or a Terrorist? The Muslim Faith is an enemy to the State. It is a religion that LITERALLY demands the destruction of all of Christianity. This is a country FOUNDED upon the freedom to practice the Christian faith.
Muslims LITERALLY believe that there can be no peace as long as Christians and Jews exist upon this planet...this is quite apparent from their sacred text. THEREFORE....allowing Muslims to exist is contradictory to everything that is American. They cannot go to their version of Heaven as long as a Christian exists upon this Earth....They MUST hunt us down and destroy us and we MUST defend our right to have free religion.....but we CANNOT have a true "Freedom of Religion" as long as this bastardized version is allowed to exist...so we must HUNT them down as well.

Back on topic... I'm all for drones, for the government and civilians alike. They will be a lot of fun in the coming civil war. Rand paul is a joke, all of the right wing no government regulation that makes banksters drool, and none of the libertarian zeal and love of true freedom of his father....
