What is this weird thing at the bottom on Borderlands 2?(screenshot)

It almost looks like waves, and when I'm near water, they "react" and move around. Here's an example of the "waves" I see.

yeah thats a weird one. it can't be your monitor....then the only thing I can pin it down to is some sort of a graphical glitch in the game?

No. Only happens on Borderlands 2. If it was my video card, it'd be universal.

try turning the color down on the tv or monitor

Yeah. I get that on Borderlands too. Just thought it was some graphics card problem. Are you on console or PC ?

borderlands 2 requires a decent card to play, so it could be the graphics card trying to handle the game.

At 70FPS, my GPUs run @ 50ish percent. Same goes with Batman Arkham City. They're overclocked and it doesn't happen when running 3DMark.

PS. If you're wondering why I'm getting 70FPS...I overclocked my monitor using NVIDIA's drivers.

The colors are completely fine. The brightness is at 16% and the contrast is at 40%

dunno that was the only thing i could think of

It looks like mouseover highlights for text, only the text is not visible properly, just tips.

Nope. It's there pretty much the whole time I play the game.
