Hi there

I have three pictures that i need to have identified.

One of them is taken by my mother on a ski trip in Norway. It was full moon, and she was taking a picture of it. The "object" was not visible with naked eye, only with a camera. And my mothers friend also took two photos after on her camara phone. It might bee lens flare or something, but i think its wierd. No blitz was used.

The friend of my mother took theese two photos:

Looks just like a typical street light in Norway.

Example: [www.bbeled.com...]

Doesn't look anything special to me.

Edit: You can even make out the post the light is on.

It's lens flare from the full moon. 100%.

Thanks for sharing, though.

It's definitely a lense flare, in case you are referring to the reddish thingy.

I concur.
Lens Flare.

If you don't see it with your eyes, and it only shows up on camera, it's usually something like lens flare or internal camera reflection.

Here's an article about Lens Flare from a photography site

Hope that helps.

Ok, lens flare
thanks. NOT a street light as this is in the middle of the forest.

What object. I see a bright light (The moon?) and I see lense flair caused by internal reflection/refraction of the bright light in the lens. No objects. Unless I missed something, in which case I apologise, please point it out to me. It has been a long day! lol

probably lens flare, though an interesting example, looks like its behind the primary light beam.

Looks like a nearly full moon through the trees and the resulting lens flare.

Agree, it loks like the moon.

Doesn't move from image to image, so it's not darting about whatever it is.

No the light beam is more intense so that's why you think that.
