Hot pants and knee high boots were the norm apparently!

Look at the leg room

That's how flying should be I reckon

Both my parents were trolley dollies, my dad was cabin crew for 40 years. Back in the day it used to be a glamorous job, flying the world and staying in fancy hotels. Now it's about how many they can safely cram on, with cabin crew who look like they'd rather be somewhere else.

Pretty sure my dad never wore the hot pants, well not at work anyway.

Ahh.. Yes. Those were the days, weren't they? When the question "Coffee, Tea or Me?" might just be sincere! (wicked grin)

I recall my first flight as a teenager. Just a little hop from Ontario to Phoenix to Las Vegas and back but it was still magic at that age. I also recall being able to smoke on the plane. Imagine that these days....(gasp). Such VERY different times. Everything didn't have a rule and life wasn't ruled by everything imaginable.

Great Pics!! It makes you want to go traveling looking at them.

I spent MORE TIME waiting to go through the security clearence then I did actually flying in the air from Las Vegas to Reno. Both ways. Standing there with your shoes off and belt off is whacked.

The poor little old lady in her 80's that had to get out of her wheel chair and be helped into the xray sytem and put her hands up over her head was a little bit too much to watch. Talk about humiliation.

What is up with THAT? The other funny thing about Vegas Airport is when you land, you can see the private jet terminal across the runway. TONS of jets over there. Do they have to go through scanners over there too?

Or is Donald Trump excused from the process?
