"The Canadian" Raises Only $30 for Further 'UFO Study"

After threatening to stop printing any more UFO reports from Scott Waring in Taiwan, the newspaper now whines it has only received $30 so far towards its goal of funding 'UFO research'.

I think this is remarkably good news about the level of common sense among the wide range of contentious -- but clearly not totally delusional -- UFO enthusiasts.

Anyhow, it's the good news of the day.

Its great news since it shows most people have caught on these ufo groups are mainly run behind the scenes by governments to make sure the true information never sees the light of day

Yep, they're the best of the best that the government has ever employed.

Why they are so good, you'll never find one to talk. Ever. Just... that... good.

And you'll never find anyone who knows someone who knows one, either. They're cloned so that they have no family or friends They're educated in special alien technology brain tanks too, so they have no school records or history.

In fact, if you ever saw one outside of their secret ufo-denial office, they simply implode into a puff of grey smoke and float away. They're just that good.

I wish I was a super secret government employed agent paid gadzillions to say "Nup, nuffink up there mate, don't even bother looking, it's terribly boring. I had a look once and fell into a coma. What ufo?"

Maybe, or maybe not. They probably don't want to send in money only to be told it's something mundane, like an out of focus paint chip, which they expect is what they're going to be told whether that's what it is or not. I think the other responses to this thread somewhat reflect this perspective.

I guess the person or persons who sent in the $30 don't mind being told it's just an out of focus paint chip. Plus I'm not sure what $4970 more is going to do, it's not like it will make the out of focus blob get in focus???
