Fake panhandler makes $100,000 a year. Scumbag or good businessman?

and I really don't think he's hurting anyone.

Except for people who really are down on their luck....
People like him make others way less charitable.

I once knew of a guy who used to panhandle at an intersection in front of a Walgreens. The manager saw him day after day, and offered him a job. The guy refused, saying he made more begging, could set his own hours, and didn't have to worry about rules. Over the next few days, various Walgreens employees outed the guy, by holding up signs, until he eventually moved on to another spot.
