Regarding the Ex-Text thing, I doubt that has anything to do with ATS. 1 guess would be that somehow or another, there may have been some sort of malfunction, and maybe you should double-check it by copy/pasting something else from a different random DailyMail page.
The Youtube thing is very easy after you know it, but not necessarily easy to figure out. All you actually need is the video code itself:
http://w w.youtube.com/watch?v=[color=60DBD3]uahZLfoZ954
So you need only to paste that short code into the 'Vid-Youtube' thingy on the 'ATS Reply Page'.
[yvid]uahZLfoZ954[/yvid]
which would look like↑this before you post it,
and then will appear as↓, in the actual comment/post.
eta: Or maybe you already knew that, and are referring to some other sort of issue with the Youtube vids?

I've posted utube vids before and noticed than many members have the same problem tonight.
Negative interest rates could become a reality in an ‘extraordinary’ move by the Bank of England to kick-start the economy, one of its senior officials revealed yesterday. Deputy governor Paul Tucker said a reduction of the base rate to below zero should be considered four years after it was cut to a record low of 0.5 per cent. Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk... Sometimes the strings can get so confusing that resorting to trial and error is about the only sane approach.
The reason I asked is because when I was first learning how to embed videos on here, I noticed that most videos cannot be viewed while still on the ATS 'Post Preview' page, but will work correctly after being posted in the thread. I assume that it is like that for others too, and not just me, but I don't actually know for sure.

As far as trial and error? Post and check. If no video shows up on screen, or if a link doesn't work? Edit. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
