thank you Cody.. I'll do that.. sure I'll be torn a new one as my honesty and observations will undoubtedly get me in hot water. Yet , being at an
age where memory is faulty... telling the truth as I see it is far easier than lying and trying to remeber what one said *L*
Assume there is a block feature so if someone gets on your last nerve you can ignore them? I don't like to be rude but there are sometimes that
wasting words on the doubting seems a Sysiphian exercise. and my physical health cannot run with the big boys. I'll just keep my foot in mouth and
watch.
The post that finally convinced me to join was the DOJ/Child Traficking one. It validatted a lifetime of experience and 20 years of pointed study.
That is surprising. You don't expect your exoeriences to be found reflected and validated when what you have experienced is under the radar of the
national media altogether. IN short when I became disabled...I found that eerything that I thought that I knew about our country was wrong. Won't
bore you with how. Would take a long time. So , the opinions that I hold I know in my soul they are true . Because I lived it.
Since you all seem to have more folks who think that only that which is in print or online and can be backed up with statistics and facts
written down at all times is the only truth , it would be difficult for a person who has used experience to make their points.I shall keep this in
mind and avoid much distress. I've no doubt that if I chmed in too often I'd be eaten for lunch. Good thing I love learning. Nice to know as well
some folks feel that the introduction thing is a waste of time. You know people by what they say and how they say it. Then you watch their actions.
The reason deceit is inbuilt into this Orwellian tool and the internet.. You cannot see someones actions with a pc but it is in the works. Quite
frankly , the net is not a place that has as it's intent the good of mankind. That is an illsuion. The internet is ruining human communication as we
are not getting vocal inflection nor eye contact.. I see it as dehumanizing us .Gve it up every spring. Use it to learn and grow in winter.. Come
spring my posts, if I am brave enough to create one, will go wanting for my attenton, Don't know how people can enjoy this day in and day out and not
see the whole Orwellian nighmare the "web" truly is. So, I take it with a grain of salt. Nature to me is real, This is man made. A red tail hawk
soaring above me on a clear day is where I'd rather be than here I assure you. Yet, needs must , and if you want to work from home , one must have
one of these "beasts" So, be gentle with me. If anyone is rude, ugly or nasty..I shall just use that lovely ignore feature. WE need civility in
this world.. I promise to try and temper my verbosity.
Perhaps it is my ancestry that leads me to feel this way. Cherokeee from WNC That's the only thing I shall say as to "who I am " Hate labels as
they are used far to frequntly to play words games with peoples lives. It is my heartfelt belief that we are all on the same small planet and had
better tuck away our egos and learn to grow above this divde and conquer dance or lose our lives.. I see it no other way. KIndness is not a sign of
weakness. WE must learn to see our fellow humans as our brothers and sisters or die.
Since this is the case.. it is my hope that the civil and polite among you will say to me: "it's not worth your time dear", if I become
embroiled with someone who likes to be a nasty person. Sometimes, it is extremely hard to tell who is the trouble maker when one is a newbie in these
places. I've noticed as I've read at times how snarky folks can become here. ON all boards.. some folks become really brave behind a screen.. It'
what I hate most about the net. That is what accounts for my waiting as long as I have to join etc. Been reading ATS for many years. I am a person
who thinks peace and civility is simply a choice. Some folks don't have that attitude.
. The only certainty is the probability of uncertainty. Change is the only thing that never ceases. Everything must change. It's what life is
about. Changing, learning and growing. Yet, when one reads these boards, you see most folks think they're right. I think it's far murkier and
mysterious than that. Mankinds propensity for wanting to know everything at the push of a button seems to me akin to the way he adopted the internal
combustion engine. The car had far reaching implications that we are paying for now. Wonder what
humankind wil say about this tool of herd monitoring the pc is in twenty years. Glad I won't be around to see it. Personally , I think only an army
of kind people doing kind things will win the days not online but offline.
If one is gonna use a tool .. make sure what the risks of using that tool is. It just makes common sense.
So, Carpe Diem.. get the glasses out.. and wanders off. See ya around
