CT Police Say Lanza 'Norway Copycat' Story is "Unsubstantiated"

With a misleading headline speaking of Lanza's definite "interest" in the Norway shootings as well as a new round of scary pictures the world media has now put into place another piece of the preferred narrative of Adam Lanza. It turns out to be based on "several" articles allegedly found in the Lanza home revealed by anonymous "law enforcement sources,"

Investigators have a theory that Adam Lanza's interest in Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik might have led to the Dec. 14 massacre that left 20 children and six women dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

The theory is based in part on several news articles about Breivik that investigators found in one of Lanza's two bedrooms at the Newtown home where he lived with his mother, Nancy Lanza, according to law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation.

Problem: CT State Police don't know what the frig these "sources" are talking about, and they presumably have access to all the same evidence.

The official spokesman for the Connecticut State Police, the lead agency investigating the mass shooting in Newtown that killed 26 students and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School, cast doubt today on reports that shooter Adam Lanza was trying to emulate Norwegian killer Anders Breivik or other mass murderers.

"It's someone's theory, but not ours," Lt. Paul Vance told ABC News. "It's not anything official that we've garnered."

Meanwhile still no word on important questions like Lanza's SSRI psych meds records, the surveillance video, the 911 call tapes, or the identity and alibis of multiple men captured on helicopter cameras bolting for the woods.

What a surprise......different news sources different stories......An article from a few days ago said both his rooms in the basement were all blacked out. Yet CNN reported that these articles were pasted to his walls. They also said someone from Newtown came to DC to brief authorities on the case then the feds from DC leaked the info to CNN and Vance is crying about it being false.

Seems like Vance is clearing up a lot of bunk info. He reported gun usage based on evidence immediately after the event and how many stories do we still hear to this day about what weapons were used. He was also correcting the medical examiner during his infamous press conference. He's the only one who's been consistent. He's either not full of s*** or at least he got his script right. He'd be the only one in that fiasco.

I keep wondering about Vance. He said at a presser "we are holding some cards close to our chest" possibly meaning something you wouldn't want other possible suspects to be tipped off to. He didn't threaten free speech, he threatened people posing as victims and LE on Facebook.

Wonder what he thinks of his colleagues leaking his crap. Maybe he should arrest them.
