I don't have trouble with other websites, but I can't get anything out of the Search function, just a new Samuru page that doesn't work.

Is anyone else having problems?

Update - I used Explorer 8 and ran into problems but Opera seems to return results. PITA

Well, I went to google, and did a search for your username, and got back 242 results.
I went to samuru, and got back 2 results with the same search.

Hmmmm.

I would say you should do a 'search' to find the other "Samuru ain't working" threads.... but Samuru ain't working

It doesn't like my computer either.

My first reaction was an emphatic "wtf?" when I saw that Samuru thing instead of the regular ATS search.

Seriously, wtf?

Worked for me quite well! I am running W7 and Firefox, if that helps anyone.

It is totally useless on my android too, just a blank white page.
Makes you wonder if they even tested this crap before changing from the old search.

Well it works for me......It just doesn't work well. It's an incredibly crappy search engine in my humble opinion. Why ATS would ever want to go with Samuru is beyond me.

Oopsie!

But yeah. Doesnt work well for me, either. It finds keywords fine, but only seemed to return one page? And keywords, out of context of the string, were not much use.

For instance, I typed (as I would in google) times square bomb

And I got all individual results that had

TIMES

SQUARE

BOMB

but not really in relation to the string, most just sentences that happened to have the word. Ie: You don't know how many TIMES that happened to me.
Etc.

Oh, you may want to post in Board Business, or look there for threads.

I like the aesthetic appeal of it though. I haven't searched too many things (1) yet so I cannot say if it isn't accurate as it has been 100% of the time so far with me!

I don't think I should have put my post above, it sure killed the thread!

It's a work in progress. Google and others are still refining codes and algorithms to this day. It'll get better as it's tweaked.

ETA: Sorry Superman. That was supposed to be a general post in the thread. I was reading your post, and clicked without thinking.
