I knew it was a joke when I read the last part: Dale Earnhardt, 25%.

There is no offical statistics showing intelligence and political support.

However, I have made my own observations.

I am yet to meet a Bush supporter who has an IQ above that of a carrot. the vast majority of Bush supporters Ive met, online and off, cannot spell, speak coherently, and know about as much about history as they do QUANTUM PHYSICS. Thankfully, these people are so brain dead, Ill be surprised if they can find Bush's name on a ballot.

Most Kerry supporters THINK they are smart. Unlike Bush supporters, they can use fancy words with skill. The can grasp abstraction and irony. However, when it comes to common sense and the truth, they have about as much brains as a Bush supporter. Kerry supporters are under the illusion that they are inteligent, enlightened people. Bt remove the rhetoric and propoganda, they are about as bright as Bush supporters.

So, my conclusions: anyone who supports either candidae is a mental midget.

Skadi, very good. I'll buy that. Seriously, I dont think one or the other is smarter, I just think some refuse to see the truth if it arrived at their doorstep, wrapped in cellophane and stamped "the truth"

The IQ test is really an inaccurate test, being that it only tests 2 of the 7 "levels of intellegence".

Einstein might not have done too well at our little "IQ" test.

This is straight garbage.

If people were really "smart", they would know that long term change is better than short term stagnance or limited and continued growth.

People want our economy to continue to grow, even when it is grossly overinflated so as not to conflict with their portfolio.

I almost wish the market would crash completely.

It is a typical pattern of the liberals/socialist worldwide to be intelectual bullies who label those who do not share their ideas as ignorant brutes. They are all swell-heads who like to suck each other's azz. What these people do not see is that wisdom, not IQ is the highest virtue a human should pursue.

Talking about Kerry, I haven't found a candidate so patethic and phony as him. He should be selling cars, not rallying for President. He's yadayadayadaing his way to Office. He always has a plan for this or that or the other. He is the typical charlatan. He would be a good candidate for a South American country not the US. C'mon that's the best candidate Democrats had to offer?

Although the report is highly suspect (let's say, "certainly"), it is kinda funny, and, IMHO, may have a smidgeon of truth to it.

After all, what thinking person would vote for someone who has his finger on the button and can't even correctly pronounce the word "nuclear"?

People who have attended college tend to be more liberal in their poll responses. This does not mean that they do not live their lives and vote conservatively. I'll match my IQ against anyone's here and I wouldn't vote for Kerry the Traitor, if you put a gun to my head.

When you've been around long enough to see the damage done by the militant left and their idiotic fellow-travellers, it tends to make you just a little smarter when it come to voting.

Remember also, that having gone to college doesn't make you smart, although smart people do tend to do better. A degree in no way substitutes for life experience. I would definitely say that anyone over the age of thirty-five who votes for Kerry has a genuine cognitive deficit.

I agree with you on this one. Bush serves as a perfect example.

The point is, can you back up that statement?
Are you questioning the intelligence of the Bush supporters on this site and elsewhere?

As you can see, I can spell and put together coherent sentences. I also attended college and can do the NYT crossword puzzle.
I wouldn't vote for Kerry----ever.

I think this is funny but not credible. I don't know the exact IQ of the Bush supporters that I know, but they are people that I grew up with that were in the gifted program so that says their IQ is well above average. Additionally, every Bush supporter that I know has at least one post Graduate degree and most have PhD's or are MD's. The least educated Bush supporter I know is my husband and he has a Bachelors degree and is most definitly a smarty pants. He cannot stand Bush but detests Kerry even more so for this election he supports Bush.

I know ONE person who has a post graduate degree who will be voting for Kerry. She was not in the gifted program so I have no idea what range her IQ falls in but she is voting for Kerry because she liked his speech at the DNC and that is her entire basis for her vote.

In my personal life I don't see anything that backs up this study. Then again, I don't discuss politics with some of the 'dumb' people I might casually know because I think they are too 'dumb' to have an opinion on much of anything!

One other thing ... wouldn't you think that people that live in prestigious neighborhoods are somewhat intelligent? To afford a million dollar home those people must be somewhat smart. I'm not sure how it is in most states, but in California, when you drive through upscale neighborhoods you see Bush/Cheney signs.

Well, I have to tell you, dg, my friends all are college educated and fairly bright people, and only two are voting for Kerry and one of those two only has two years of college.

Another way of looking at it could be that the longer one is subjected to liberal centers of "higher learning", the more brainwashed one is. It didn't work on me, obviously. I was the adult in the class ensuring the professor kept the brainwashing crap out of the classroom. They really did hate me in the general ed classes, where a lot of the training begins!

This just in....

Dimowits, spend way too much time patting themselves on the back, when they locate obscure, and questionable sources that make them feel better about themselves. It's a substitute for ACTUAL IQ.

Some call it IQ envy, some call it, low self esteem.
I call it WISHFUL THINKING....

I hope you understand that IQ cannot be taxed...So, you will not be recieving even a small percentage of mine...I have plenty extra, but I'm not sharing..!

So pack up your little brainpans, and try, really hard this time, to vote correctly, especially in Florida. ok?

Well, if I lived in the US, I would vote for Bush. And I qualify for Mensa membership.

My name is AlexofSkye, and I approve this message.

LOL! Having an IQ that places me in the high gifted,
low genius category (call me a sub-genius!) I can state
without qualification that there is a correlation between
intelligence and political vote. (And with enough data I
might even be able to figure out what it is!) Although the
metrics are not common to pre-grad students, I have
determined a number of correlation coefficients relating
variables and "memes" having to do with investment
decision making algorithms. When applied to the
political process the methodology consistently results in
Kerry being elected president. (But remember I'm just a
sub-genius).

(and if I'm wrong I will demand to know who the
imposter was that posted this message!)

By the way the original Rense article came from..

day Will Rogers" by the Los Angeles Times. He hosts
the PBS show, The Durst Amendment and was a
frequent contributor to George magazine, as well as
the op-ed pages of The New York Times and the San

No, this thread is stupid, and I have no idea why something like this is even allowed, it just shows the moronic arguments that the opposition to the Bush administration would try to use to sway the vote of Americans....

Implying that people that back Bush are stupid, is like saying that everyone who backs Kerry is not only stupid but are also jerks, and assholes...

There is no point in making such a thread like this one, except if you are trying to insult eveyone who backs Bush...

This is difinitely the stupidest thread i have seen so far.

More so when you are quoting Rense.....

BTW, i do not believe the part that I said about "everyone who backs Kerry are...."

I am just trying to make a point....

I agree, this thread is stupid... Just more liberal high I.Q. Bush bashing.

I would have thought people with higher I.Q.'s would know better than to make an obvious and pointless attack on Bush and his less than average intelligent supporters.
