Thanks for the pics, I really enjoyed them, and the three years I got to live in Alaska, although, in the Aleutians, clear sky at night is at a HUGE premium !

What a truly beautiful and fascinating world we inhabit...

I'm excited for this year as due to the sun being at its solar maximum in autumn this year, we are expected to see a glorious show in the skies. I live on an island off the West Coast of Scotland and we see the auroras over here, and apparently they will be brighter, more vivid and more spectacular than we've seen for awhile..!

Gonna have to invest in a better camera..!

sky is so bright it's hard to not get a clear and brilliant picture
