No, if they did I would eat them too, I don't like how they taste.

Honestly, did he have to kill it? I find it highly unlikely that he would eat it. That poor thing. Just because it is creepy looking or ugly doesn't make it any less of a living creature than the next one.

First thing I thought when I saw it was lampray. Nothing to crazy about picture, the ocean holds a lot more secrets.
