Maximum avatar size increased?

Has the maximum size for an avatar been increased?

I ask this because I saw a member with an avatar 170 pixels wide and 453 pixels tall.

So has the size been increased for everyone or has the coding or whatever not worked to prevent this person from using an avatar that big?

I think anyone could have a avatar bigger than the set limit it was just against the rules.
Hopefully a mod will know

I tested this out for myself but it says the image is too big to be used as an avatar.

That is a remotely hosted avatar, and I think the board is unable to test the size of it prior to display.

If it were uploaded to ats, it would test the dimensions first.

that must be mine, i'll fix it...what is the normal size i never saw it?

The maximum size for ATS avatars is usually 160x320.

Cool thanks for the alert....I'll get on that right now...160x320 max 75k...right now its only 12k so the size shouldn't be a problem..the avatar is hosted from my server...does it load slowly?

It seems to load as quickly as the rest if the avatars so it should be fine on your server.

There is a delay in image load here, (cable).

Why not just upload it to ATS servers. They are pretty fast.

had bush with jiangzimin, both were wearing chinese clothes, then I had some old revolutionary cartoons and some chinese charachters, then I decided to go with a picture of me in the changing room at an army concert my friend brought me to, took a picture wearing the star's suit...hehe he doesn't know...shhhh plus its faster to edit images on my server and then just refresh the page, don't have to waste time uploading...

yeah, decided to go with the picture of me, cuz too many people were thinking i was chinese and i can totally understand why...because there are so many friggin chinese people and i'm somewhere in china haha lol!
