This is an interesting video, but lets face it, when we are actually in love do we really care about the chemicals and hormones involved?

I was madly in love with my second wife. We lived a 17 year honeymoon until I lost her to cancer in 1995. And I cannot remember once wondering what the chemical basis of that love was while i was experiencing it.

So, study it now, don't wait until you are in love or you probably won't care then either.

It turns out the brain in love looks strikingly similar to one on drugs like coc aine! Find out what drives love, and why we simply love being in love.

Love is only a dirty trick played on us to achieve continuation of the species.

Aye it is an interesting video and I can certainly believe that your brain is experience similar effects to being on coc aine when we're in love.

It is powerful, exhilerating, making us do things and act in ways we'd not do normally.

The world can seem like a different place when we're in love and it is indictive,in fact sometimes it's hard to tell if it's her or just being in love we're in love with

It all makes sense from an evolutionary and physiological point of view. The high and lust of the initial honeymoon period presumably to increase the likelyhood of getting her pregnant then the love and bonding to keep the couple together to rear the children until their able to make their own way.

Yet the evolutionary, hormonal, chemical imperative actually,as you rightly said, means very little to you when you are in love and to be honest reducing it to a biological level doesnt do it justice

Don't study love! That's boring! Live it!

No better way to learn then to experience it.

Feel the burn on your lips after that first kiss!

The blood rushing to your head and cheeks. The warmth of the other persons body. The smell.

The sound of her voice just makes your heart pump happiness through out your body. Supplying your organs with red juicy love.

Haaaaaaaaa! Science can never explain emotions just like you can't explain the colour red to a blind man.

Sorry for your loss.

After living such an event in your life do you think you can love somebody else again?

I went on to eventually marry for a third time. While I was in love with the third wife she could never replace the second one fully.
