Listen here jack wagon, living in a country that has freedom of speech, you sometimes hear speech from some uneducated backwoods idiot. Yes it is true that there are KKK rallies in TN, but they protest to no one but themselves. The only spectators are other ignorant a?$ bigots. This is no way indicative of the majority of the residents of this great state. As far as guns go in this state, you bet your butt we are armed. Tennesseeans don't play!

If you stand around and do nothing about the KKK rallies and think they are harmless...then you are as big of a problem as the actual KKK is.

The government can't stop the KKK from rallying...but the residents of any state/city/town can....but it seems like those in TN choose not to.

People turned out to protest the Klan in Memphis a few years ago.

It went something like this:

Black people on one side protesting the Klan.
White people on one side protesting the Klan.

(You see the problem here?)

The Klan in the middle laughing it up. (because this is what they want, remember... segregation.)
Memphis Police Department gasses both crowds, makes a few arrests and escorts the Klan to safety.

Not that any of this has to do with TN gun law... but it is a nod toward what the entire nation is up against in terms of peaceful protest and race relations.

The Klan didn't have to do anything other than arrive. The crowd hung themselves with their own rope.

Gun laws are just being used as the courthouse steps.

The KKK exists. The Black Panthers exist. I have never seen either one here. I have never met anyone who claimed to be a member. To decrie that the entire state of Tennessee is racist simply because a certain party exists here ( they exist in other states btw) is rediculous. By giving them attention you give them power.

The word is sterotypeing all of us for the actions of a few. But then some will condem us all to find fault in anything. It is like calling all who ride Harleys outlaw bikers. When we all know this is not true as well, so all we can do is just look over their closed minds.

Thank you for your comments, but I think you are missing the point. The best thing to do about hate filled rallies is to ignore them. They are looking for confrontation, they seek press and attention. The KKK was started in Pulaski, TN. They have a march there or used to, I am not sure, every year. The entire town closes their businesses and stay at home. The people there are ashamed of the hate filled rhetoric of these back woods white trash a$#holes. You obviously have never been to Tennessee or lived here, so you really do not know what you are talking about. Believe me when I say that the KKK is no more relevant in Tennessee than it is in say Vermont. (And I lived there for 3 years).

That's a broad brush you are painting with. TN is no more KKK'ish than a lot of states if not even less now because they've learned to minimalize it. Don't forget that the right of free speech and peaceable public assembly is legal, so eliminating something like the Klan has to come from within and by living by example.

The actions of a few do not reflect the attitude of the state as a whole, for anyone to believe this is only deluding theirselves.

clearly, this is a law that a peace loving, stable and intelligent nation would adopt.

No wait, i mean its clearly proof of an unstable, psychopathic and mentally disturbed society. Quick, run to Mcdonalds and eat some more chemically enhanced food before you stop at the pharmacy and take your meds for all those syndromes the TV says you have. Do it, before the evil government enslaves you.
