Are YOU a terrorist?

Kinda makes ya wonder why the federal government is classifying people like that in the first place. It's like they think some plague spread around the country and infected people with an overwhelming desire to become a terrorist. I suppose they did the same thing with communists back in the day, but they weren't detaining and killing them without due process. Maybe they could address the issue of why people have that inclination (if they really do) in the first place.

There's obviously a bigger plan in place that doesn't involve civil liberties and operating our constitutional republic as it was designed.

Did you view < Police State 2000 > This was an actual exercise by American and Norwegian troops in a co-operative neighborhood . You need to check into what happens during Martial Law and how little the President has to do to invoke it . When he goes for the guns Martial Law will be involved . The Pres. then becomes Dictator for 6 months before it can be reviewed by Congress . Will there be a Congress then?
People trusting their Government is the reason we are in the shape we are in now .

Where do we meet up?

I sort of don't care what a bunch of strangers in fancy embroidery call me. They might be repeating what they have heard from other countries around the planet. In kindergarten, if someone calls you a poopyhead, does it mean you are one? No, it means the name caller has a big problem.

This country is going through an auto-immune disease phase right now. It doesn't know who is supposed to have rights. The real idea is that citizens get the rights, but there are so many immigrants wanting the same rights without going through the motions to become citizens, it's confused with the political correctness lingo that it heard from a decade or two ago. It comes from the illusion that if there are hundreds of millions of people in the USA, then they all must be citizens, because somewhere there is a miracle agency taking immigrants out of the country just as soon as they arrive, sniffing through all the phony IDs.

So then they need a different way to segregate people, so they choose the word terrorist. It's supposed to define someone who may or may not be a citizen who is not behaving as the DHS believes a citizen should behave. That is the broad scope of it. It went from a niche definition that would cover mostly foreign groups that wanted to destroy something in USA, to anybody who has a hissyfit over the way the government runs things.

It's one of the best mind-twisting words that someone can throw these days, because it was invented by political authority figures and you can stick in on virtually anybody that disagrees with you in the name of counter-terrorism. I realized it one day, that counter-terrorism is just more terrorism thrown out there to counteract the terrorism coming in from another direction. It's not anti-terrorism that government is trying to apply.

It sort of reminds me of the way people in the USA would throw around the word communist in the latter half of the 20th century. It's a type of hate speech, sanctioned for government use mostly. It's what they call someone instead of the word criminal. Maybe in NLP(neuro linguistic programming) the T-sounds and the hissing at the end make it a more wicked-sounding word to hurl at someone than to say the word criminal.

Now you can get all legalese and find the true definition of the word, but that's not how it's being used these days. It has mutated to cover any acts of individuals which might necessitate law enforcement to take more complicated measures against. There's blue collar crime, white collar crime, then terrorism, for when normal crime-fighting under normal law systems is still not putting the government in control of the situation.

It's a political twilight zone word: act of civil war? Could be re-labled domestic terrorism, for example. It's a PR(public relations) word. It's an -ism word, and with that -ism comes a big "things I might call bad if I can get away with in in a seat of politics" philosophy that gets put under that word. Where they muddle it about and approach it from more invented political science ways. It's a behavioral approach involving mentalities more than a you-break-it-you-bought-it approach that traditional laws and their courts with judges and attorneys provide. Amorphous.

I am a terrorist to cockroaches, spiders and other crawling insects. They fear me, scattering when the light switch flips on, because they know I will destroy them. I wreck havoc on their colonies! Do you understand? You're not supposed to be afraid of being called a name, but that's what is happening with the dreaded T-word going around powerful political circles, trying to sterilize the liberty from the population. Hate speech.

Your point are valid for suspicion. I won't argue that..

What I'm trying to say is that there are MANY other possibilities one can attach as to why the government is preparing by arming their agencies.. None of them good I'm sure.. But it doesn't mean they are going to commit an all out offensive against the citizenry..

Actually thats not the article I was referring to .This directive from either FEMA or Homeland Security was to police departments to set as a standard what to look for . It was an involved list and made a great stir on the Internet ,. It was retracted and scrubbed from the internet even after it kept popping up. Most probably Alex Jones or PrisonPlanet still has it .
For laughs google < Goarmy 3IE Specialist> or < Internment /Resettlement Specialist ( 31E)> This is an official US Army site . Police State 2000 video actually shows foriegn troops shooting blanks from a machine gun position simulating actual combat with American citizens resisting the UN push .And American soldiers instructing the civilian people who took part in the exercise about processing them into the CAMPS . What camps? The ones they are talking about that does not exist . I have followed some contracts awarded for their construction .Much to be seen here .

So.. the good part:
This list will likely set focus on terrorists and actually create the pre-emptive awareness needed to battle homeland terrorism.

The bad part:
The distance from you accidentaly doing all the terrorist related events to you beeing triangulated and attacked by a homeland drone just got considerably shortened.

The only thing that would be worse were if they had a GPS tracker on you that could listen in on everything you said. Maybe keyword activated recordings and automated strikes?
Oh....wait... everyone already carries a cellphone. Hmm,,

If you are complete moron with a hard on for the federal government then maybe. If you are a normal perosn not from the planet arachnia of the 12th dimension, no.

I was thinking about why people who are really smart, like physicists or great mathematicians lack common sense.

One of my customers was laughing because her husband who is a physicist thinks he has to shut off the power to change a light bulb.....seriously. He is also absolutely brilliant she says. We talked about it a little.

I think people who study political science and make it to the top are really smart and at the same time complete morons.

This is the only explanation I can come up with for their labeling of the entire country as terrorists. They may be slightly retarded. I mean that seriously.

Perhaps we're naive about today's suppression of the inalienable human right, granted by God (not the State nor any man), to Freedom of Speech.

While this great country was founded and strengthened by heated intellectual discourse, it is no longer safe to express political opinions, religious opinions, or other opinions that differs from the programmed collective. This restriction of Free Speech really took its power with the acceptance, by the American People, of political correctness. From there, the first amendment has been torn apart guilt by guilt in favor of some rather diabolical multinational endeavors.

The definition of the word 'terrorist' mentioned and outlined in so many executive orders and federal legislations certainly allow too much gray area, generality, by which any free-thinking person could be included in that horrible label. Therefore, it is an inaccurate term and should be dismissed, unless otherwise redefined to narrowly read 'any person or persons preparing, assisting, and/or committing acts of mass fear against the nation and its citizens.'

Any other threats to the State should be evaluated under other words that fit the particular meaning of what those people are. The vagueness of today's de facto definition is too broad and too easily allows abuses of power, especially the expanded powers granted to the State to handle issues of that terrorist label.

Everything in the world can change just by how a solitary, simple-seeming word is defined.

I thank God I live in a country where the Freedom of Speech is codified as a God-given attribute to humankind, and I pray that those in power will understand the importance of such, as well as how to define words with more Merriam-Webster or Oxford preciseness.

Actually we are all potential terrorists depending on ones point of view! From the perspective of those living in the middle east, they might say all americans are terrorist but especially the political heirarchy! Terrorism is a relative term along with truth and reality! We are all capable of culpable acts and have the ability to choose whether to terrorize others! None of us knows the truth for sure since the past is dictated for the purpose of manipulation and coercion of the present! Terrorism is a last resort tactic of a resistant force unable to bring change through diplomacy or military intervention! It usually is not a very good tactic for bringing change but is better for making a society take notice which is the first step in getting people listen! It may also bring about the opposite effect by promoting an emotional response of disgust! This disgust could make a society less inclined to listen to those responsable!
As for the statements of the states deductive reasoning on which Americans are potential terror suspects. For the state to of made such statements as the OP has stated seems IMHO to be totally irrational and illogical!
These statements border on the brink of being terrorist statements themselves but tend to be more along the lines of fear mongering! These statements seem to be a desperate act of a fascist run society attempting to strip away our rights while chaining our society with unjust laws, unreasonable acts and trying to maintain
the bonds of oppression through intimidation and fear! I would also expect by the direction of such perposterous acts for things to get a heck of alot worse until the ignorance in our society becomes a relic!
