Oh, I don't agree. I am really afraid when I hear this. I think you have to consider not what it is now, but if everybody is okay with it, what it will gradually become in a couple of decades. You know once it starts, it will grow broader. It would eventually get to the point that the law would not allow the computer to be over-ridden. Yes, our justice system is messed up, but I think this could only make it worse. You are not going to get pure, fair, unbias logic from a computer programmed by bias, ignorant humans.

Yes but it's a slippery slope when one assumes that all variables are always the same, don't you think? I understand the advantages of information retention and analysis being processed by a computer vs a human, but we don't live in a black and white society (metaphorically speaking) and our justice system should't be black and white either.
