Don't worry, Jack. I think the odds of a celestial object/asteroid hitting us is a lot greater. You can die with a big smile of relief when that hits us, knowing there's nothing you could have done to prevent it.
A series of blindingly bright lights appear all over Los Angeles, mesmerizing the citizens of the city while luring them to an uncertain fate in this sci-fi thriller from sibling filmmakers Greg and Colin Strause. As speculation regarding the origin of the mysterious lights runs rampant, a Los Angeles entrepreneur (Donald Faison), his best friend, Jarrod (Eric Balfour), and Jarrod's frightened girlfriend (Scottie Thompson) struggle to resist temptation as they seek out the source of the luminous threat.

That would be one hell of a dream, and it would have got my attention. Thing is this extermination would be done with a chemical composition if they have the technology of space travel. You would want to remove the population without destroying the resources, otherwise there would be no gain, all nice and neat, I do not believe we are a target, just a people who need awakening and enlightened and that each day we get a little closer...

Your dream reminds me of the movie Skyline.
Have you seen it?

So you are talking about being vulnerable, where you weren't before.
You could defend and protect yourself and other's,but in the dream you can't.
Any changes in your life that would cause that?
But if you feel it's a premonition of things to come, all we can do is see if something happens.
It could be the little asteroid getting ready to give us a close shave on the 15th that is actually an craft of some sort.
Highly doubt it.But I have been wrong before.
Peace,
K

My son was born 10 days after 9/11.
Today,I have been without a job for 3 weeks.
First time in my life ,other then the lay off I went through a few years ago.
What bothers me is that it doesn't really concern me,yet.
I bought my 11 year old son a crossbow the other day.
He just got a 22 rifle for xmas and knows how to start a fire with little to nothing.
When he was born,I knew that I had to teach him how to survive without our modern conveniences.
I have felt something was coming, but maybe it was just wishing,I don't know.
This was long before coming to ATS.
