A Muslim leader in Orange County told KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, the man identified on the tape as "Azzam the American" is actually Adam Gadahn, who once worshipped at a mosque in Garden Grove before dropping out of sight in 1998.

Garden Grove, CA, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- FBI agents reportedly planned to meet Friday with a California man who believes he knows the identity of the masked man in the latest al-Qaida threat tape.

A Muslim leader in Orange County told KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, the man identified on the tape as "Azzam the American" is actually Adam Gadahn, who once worshipped at a mosque in Garden Grove before dropping out of sight in 1998.

The FBI identified Gadahn as a suspected al-Qaida member last May.

Can anyone post a link to an online/downloadable version of this video? I missed it on the news, and I can't find it anywhere on the net. I heard some of the audio on the radio, but that's it.

Also, does anyone know if this guy/kid is legitimately tied to Al-Quida, or if he is just making this stuff in his mom's basement?
