God gave them that land after leading them out of captivity and slavery.

Really? Well, if we're taking gods word on it, all the arabs who were living on that land should be killed. Woo-hoo, religion sponsored genocide, let's go guys!

www.christiananswers.net...

The bible (and the Torah) says a lot of weird stuff, I'll take your point if you can convince me you live a biblical life, obeying EVERY commandment or directive in the bible (or Torah depending what flavour you like your BS)

A lot of sensible people know about Arafat but they are just generally anti-semetic so they tolerate him.

seems like everyone that is against isreal is classed as anti-semetic ( big joke )

if arafat dies to will cause more violance because of the power struggle in palistain

People who appose israel are not anti-semetic just the ones that want them not to have a country, religion or freedoms thatthey want.

FFFUUUUNNNNNYYY that was nowhere in the point, noone said arabs had to be killed for the Israeli's to have the land God gave them. The killing came from radicals with nothing better to do.

Its not any Christains job to convience you they are to provide the information and answers questions......your eternal sole and your future is your problem....Only God can judge you if you dont. To convience implys a need for justification which requires "judgement" in order to find the truth.

One warning test not God for it's a violation of his laws. And if you have to be convienced then you are testing him.

16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:

17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

The bible says they must be destroyed to inherit the land god gave them.

I am not asking them to provide me with any answers or solutions, all I am asking is that if they live by one tenet of their holy book, they live by them all.

This is Old Testament Deuturonemy is'nt it ........ Try reading the New Testament .... Where God himself says it is their land and his time piece, they shall return to their home in Israel and seal themselves inside it's borders and a peace shall be made with the many for 3 1/2 years actual 7 years but 3 1/2 is all it will last. Then GOD goes on to say HE will defend Israel from her enemies from the north IE Gog/Magog which is the region of Biblic times where Russia is now. HE will do this miraculasly, nowhere does it say thathe wants Israel to fight this battle he claims the ACTIONS for himself.

To Jews, there is no "Old Testament." The books that Christians call the New Testament are not part of Jewish scripture. The so-called Old Testament is known to us as Written Torah or the Tanakh.

Israel is a Jewish state, therefore the 'new' testament has no relevance. The one thing I have discovered is that Israel may not be a bit of land, rather a state of mind.

Please enlighten me to these new testament verses which advocate the creation of an Israeli state and tell me why they have any relevance since they are disavowed by the Jews themselves.

Everyone in Palestine loves Arafat, and so far he is an elected leader.

So is it that people under siege are terrorists and the oppressors the poor innocent victims? Do you know why OBL is after Israel and the US? Guess...

My opinion is that Israel should be relocated to the north pole.

Vote for Bush

drbryankkruta That was a vary bad move. Of course they wouldn't believe those verses. When I'm debating about Israel I try to be as secular as possible because some people as you can see don't get religion and/or dont like religion and/or hate God. You don't need to use the bible to win the debates since defending Israel is so much more easier then defending Hamas and the PLO.

Whether or not God gave the Israelites that land I could care less about. As early as the mid to late 1800's as wel as the early 1900's, Jewish people were buying that land from the Arabs, who were more than willing to sell unproductive dirt for a profit.

The fact that the Israelis have turned that desert into productive agricultural resouce say's it all. I also have heard that Israelis are more kind to the palestinian people than their own Arab brothers, who are more than happy to capitalize on this issue than to help.

Arafat was a terrorist. The 1972 Munich Olympics had nothing to do the Intifada, Palestinian refugees, right of return, etc. They did it just to kill Jews and by doing it in Germany of all places was nothinh more than a public relations bonanza.

Basically what everyone here who believes Arafat is a freedom fighter is that you believe if Osama bin Laden continues his terrorist activities fo another 50 years, then he to will be legitimizes in the world opinion and given recognition at the U.N Assembly. That is truly the scariest thing I have heard of in quite a long time.

See Tomcat you don't have to use God to defend Israel. You could just use common sense and logic. God is never wrong so it just makes sense whatever he does. It just makes sense.

I would woory about that, as they are so quick to claim in their defense freedom of speech is paramount to free men.

In my view God is worth taking the hit over I'm not afraid to get persicuted for God, Jesus, the Bible and Israel and any of faith should not be afraid either.

I require myself to be tolernt of the views of others, but I dont require the same from them, But God bless them one and all.

I find it hard to debate with people who don't believe in God because they think whatever I say is garbage and they won't take me seriously.

There in a proof of their belief that they dont want to fight they just want what God gave them and if buying back what was stolen is what it takes then so be it. Its better to buy it then kill for it.

They are kind to anyone who is kind to them, do unto others as they would do unto you, you know.

Yes, I believe I said somewhere either in this thread or another Arafat is know in the following flow of his evilution.

activist, revelutionary, terrorist, military/political hero of the PA, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, and now defunked mentally ineffective inprisioned leader who is senile

I dont think he is totally a freedom fighter he had his own modivations to come to power he just used the guise of freedom and independant state status as a theme of convience.
