6. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
Read more at www.snopes.com...

It sounded like they're saying that's a myth ( unless I read to fast)
Its not a myth, although when I used it, I put some coke in a cup and soaked the cables for a few minutes. It worked great.

A lot of things on the list of leading causes of death could be lumped into bad foods and unhealthy lifestyles.

Number of Deaths for Leading Causes of Death Revisited:

1 Heart disease: 597,689 Thank you cow and pig meat.
2 Cancer: 574,743 Thank you US government that set off hundreds of nuclear weapons for 'test' purposes, as well as corporate pollution, AKA 'better dying through chemistry'.
3 Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 138,080 Thank you tobacco industry and the US government that passed them out free to soldiers, lest they be 'nervous' while in foxholes.
4 Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 129,476 Thank you stress of modern living and clogged cerebral arteries.
5 Accidents (unintentional injuries): 120,859 Thank you, distracted drivers, drunk drivers and 70 MPH speed limits.
6 Alzheimer's disease: 83,494 Thank you Mad Cow Disease.
7 Diabetes: 69,071 Thank you, Big Sugar and unlimited commercials selling us crap that looks like food.
8 Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 50,476 Thank you high protein diets and the damage caused by radiation and chemotherapy.
9 Influenza and Pneumonia: 50,097 Thank you getting the whole family together at Thanksgiving and Christmas so they can spread diseases around (especially in airports!!!)
10 Intentional self-harm (suicide): 38,364 Thank you U.S. Armed Forces for creating thousands of people trained to kill and with not a thought given to their roles once they return to civilian life. Not to mention the chemicals you contaminated them with while they were in service. Thank you mental health community for 'anti-depressants' that cause suicide and for 'therapy' that's almost useless.

With a live birth rate of about 4,130,000 and death rate of about 2,200,000. Thats almost 2 million more people per year. So, if kept at a constant, thats a doubling of population just from live births in 130 years. If taken into account that the live birth rate increases as the population grows, the doubling time is shortened significantly.

If you click on the link, you'll see there are three lists and there's an explanation for each list. All three lists are correct. The data for the list is from government, other government sources, OECD and others. So there is scientific disagreement about any of these lists. The most explanatory list is the one that explains the most deaths which in this case would be the list given in my post. Proximal cause of death is uninformative because it tells you nothing about what happened to the person that caused them to get the disease.

For example, person died of head trauma. Uninformative. Person murdered (informative)

I would think in a few years there could be another category added to that list:

People who have died by using quack treatments they read on the Internet...

It is because of Jose that we don't go extinct. Which is why the government supports immigration, because we don't have enough people.
