Madness

Madness...that deep, dark, bottomless pit of despair.
Many people succumb to thee, you engulf them like the air.
You may creep on in a mind a long time before you win it.
Or you may slink in and conquer a mind in the anger of a minute.
To some you are the unkown, a mystery indeed.
Others see you as a an evil thing, a bitter, wild seed.
Madness, many terrors and weaknesses combined.
So complex, mans body and workings of the mind.

I love rhyming, it just fits very well.

I've been doing more free verse lately.
