Numbers win wars. Not guns. And we've got the numbers on our side. The only way to beat us, is to divide us. 10,000 US soldiers aren't going to
storm a US city of 1 million(+) and take charge, even if they had every civilian weapon confiscated before hand.
It wouldn't be like Iraq or Afghanistan where the population would know that the soldiers were there looking for certain insurgients. We would know
that we were
all enemies of the state.
They'd also have to confiscate every tire iron, every jug of gasoline, every kitchen knife, every ounce of chlorine, every baseball bat, crossbow,
machete, length of chain with a lock on the end. Sure many many would die, but for every platoon that falls, their weapons and resources are
assimilated into rebel hands.
Don't get me wrong. What you say makes sense; the problem is, you're thinking about this in a direct and simple minded way. TPTB never attack from
the front. They come at you sideways.
