We can discuss who the powers that be are for eternity. There is no reason to do that, however: society as we know it is a direct expression of their
minds. If we suppose the elite has devised our social order, then virtually all of the aspects of that society are going to derive from their
understanding of the world.
We are assaulted by all sorts of media, our minds experiencing a barrage of messages telling us just how - if we try hard enough - we can achieve
whatever we like.
If the above was really an axiom, then how come so many people of high intellect cannot properly function in society? They are just lazy, some would
say. Nonsense. Laziness is just an excuse of mediocre minds (read: the majority, unwitting servants of the elite) to justify what they can't
understand in others.
Only people of intelligence equal to that of the elite can truly fathom what this bunch of degenerate, inbred, psychopaths is up to. It is logical the
elite would target these individuals in order to ''convert'' them, even eliminate them.
There seems to be a love-hate relationship developing here: the elite admires the members of the masses who possess high intelligence (they provide a
challenge which purposefully domesticated masses obviously can't provide) but also hates them, because they tend to rock the boat. This is a
hypothetical scenario, of course, as we would have to ask the members of the elite (not the ones we can see and who are often not too bright
themselves) whether this reasoning is correct.
Everyone has a talent, everyone has an inclination, the problem is that the construct we call the system/the Matrix/whichever you prefer, makes sure
everything must be profitable. If you can't put a price tag on it, then it's useless from a systemic point of view. That's where the Matrix really
has you.
That's when people of great talent shut down/become aggressive/etc., because they don't feel needed. The brutal truth is: they are not needed. The
system operating on principles of boom-bust-recession-depression-ad infinitum, does not need troublemakers. It just wants the omnipotent force of
nature, the elusive economic growth - GDP data - to get better and better (for whom, though?)
Take a look at recruitment and human resources (indeed, the language is telling). Recruiters will often play mind games with potential employees,
using tactics such as depreciation (I thought you're someone better), lack of authority (I can't answer that question, I don't have the authority),
or intimidation (you either accept it, or # off).
There are many more manipulation tactics often utilized by recruiters, managers and other people with psychopathic tendencies. If you are aware of
these tactics, you can resist them, even use them to your own advantage; but what does it say about our society?
Business courses, confidence courses, NLP, you name it. If you attended such courses, you may have noticed how often individuals in charge are either
malignant narcissists masquerading as helpers or outright psychopaths. This is the mindset behind many ''agencies'' and ''corporations.''
This is the mindset behind the economic order on this planet for eons.
You can't just claim all these people protesting in the streets are lazy bastards. This explanation is too simple, too.. convenient. Then again,
people tend to like simple explanations. They were trained well by their masters.
There are (seemingly intelligent) people, often academics, who claim that ''our milieu is conducive to innovation and free thought.''
That's why they're ivory tower academics. A perfect tool of control utilizing the ''new study shows'' principle. The masses are mesmerized by
new studies, following whatever they are told, and attacking anyone who does not adhere to elite-manufactured ''norms.''
