Hey, Do you guys know what this thing is? The image on the left I mean. Its Oroboros and some triangle thing, but where is the image from? What does that text say? Any one in the know or can find out? Is that Indian writing from India?

Looks to be more elvish than Indian!
Sadly, no idea. Awesome find though. Sacred geometry no doubt.

okay here's a wikipedia link about tetractys. Appears to be a pagan symbol of sorts.

That's not a "real" crop circle, it's a copyright infringing, counterfeit reproduction (but no, really, it's fake).

I'm thinking that it could be saying as above so is below. Look at the triangles individually. You'll notice some have another pyramid flipped under it. As above so below.

These words circulate throughout occult and magical circles, and they were recorded in Hermetic texts, although they originate in the Vedas: The concept was later laid out in The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, in the words "That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above, corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing".[20] In accordance with the various levels of reality: physical, emotional, and mental, this relates that what happens on any level happens on every other. This is however more often used in the sense of the microcosm and the macrocosm. The microcosm is oneself, and the macrocosm is the universe. The macrocosm is as the microcosm, and vice versa; within each lies the other, and through understanding one (usually the microcosm) you can understand the other.

Looks like a version of the Tetraktys.

a mystical symbol, it was very important to the secret worship of the Pythagoreans.

The language is Theban. I use it as a cipher for my grimoires.

Ok... it's Theban for sure but it's a bit different than what I'm used to. What I can tell from the top line (all I have so far) is "Everything comes from the one".

I'll work on the rest.

Upper-left is a bit trickier. Not sure if it's because of the actual writing or the image itself being a bit blurry. Here's what I got: "Old de_v(or u?)dns_(or a?)o the one"

Figured out a bit more but the second word is killing me:

"Old _________ (detods?) to the one"

Bottom (still in circle) says "For the one".

The last really long bit at the bottom says:

"This _ _ _ (very blurry; all three of these letters could be a, r, or o) things have been born from this single thing by adoption"

So all together it says (roughly):

Everything comes from the one.
Old ___ to the one.
By the one.
For the one.
This ___ things have been born from this single thing by adoption.

Thanks! It gave me an excuse to blow some dust off a couple books I've been meaning to bust out. I wish I could tell you what it all means. I agree with the above poster (John Malkovich looking guy) that this is more or less about the "as above, so below" concept.

If you are interested, that idea spawns from the Emerald Tablets of Thoth which are a cool read in its own right. Just be sure to check out more than one translation (they're short) as there are some pretty drastic syntax differences between some of them.

Also, since it's pertaining to a picture of the Ouroboros, I'd imagine it's speaking to the adaptable nature of it. Everything comes from, and goes back to, the one (source or whatever). The last line is more of a mystery to me as to how deep it's supposed to be. It kind of reminds me of the Big Bang.

Sounds to me like it's about God. God as the universe.

Everything comes from the one.
Old ___ to the one.
By the one.
For the one.
This ___ things have been born from this single thing by adoption.

We all come from the Universe (or god created us),
It's all created "by the One", (a concept we are all familiar with)
its created "for the One" (this sound like the idea that all consciousnesses are like the eyes of god exploring itself, or as Bill Hicks put it "we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively") in other words, we exist so that the ONE the All Thing, might be able to perceive and know itself.

Finally, all sub-things are simply a part of the big single thing, the being of the universe. I suppose the "adoption" bit is like saying we are born from it but our mothers also, so each thing is born from its greater thing (the small rock from the bigger rock it broke off of) but while we are born from these things, we are also all born of the greater being of the universe which takes us as its own. Though I'd need to know more about the original language used to get the correct sense of the word adoption.

Thanks again Cuervo!

that is interesting that it is talking about "The One (1)".

The three triangles represents "the Tri-Force" the belief that three forces are guiding the world/existence. Not sure what the bottom row of triangles beneath that represents.

The Ourobos (Dragon eating its own tail) represents the life-force energy (kundalini) which flows through but still life devours itself. The life is The Serpent - The Dragon.

That will be tougher to determine. Theban isn't really a language but more of a cipher. You could consider it ancient but that's up for debate, too. As old as Agrippa for sure but could be older than Honorius of Thebes, who is given credit for creating it.

It's all a cipher for the Latin alphabet so the actual language could be English, Spanish, Latin, etc. Or, I guess it could have been translated from a non-Latin language into a Latin one so... I don't know how this could be pinned down without external sources. Good luck!
